My mother and I stayed for three nights starting December 1st. This was our second stay at this property. We were blown away by our first experience and we were equally pleased our second time around {Please look up my first review for even more details}.

Everything about this place is 5-star all the way. The property and the rooms are spotless - super clean. The entire place is well appointed and decorated - tastefully, not pretentiously. The fitness room is open 24 hours and is spacious with new machines and a lot of weights and equipment. There are no bad parking spaces and all are very safe and security patrolled. The breakfast is incredible - tasty, filling and delicious with a very wide variety to choose from - something for everyone. Newspaper under your door every morning is a nice touch. The beds are soooo comfortable and the pillows! I have to find out where I can get some for home. You get a such a good rest at this place. Bathrooms are modern, spotless and bright. Location is central - close to I95, shopping and restaurants.

I could go on and on about the property, but the people are by far the best part of the stay here. If you should be fortunate enough to meet Jo Jean (the Manager) and her wonderful team, then you will know what I mean. They are all so friendly, professional, courteous, helpful, warm and happy. You can't fake happiness and it comes out in the smiles and the personalities of Jo Jean and her amazing staff. If this place were a straw hut, I would still give it 5-stars because of the great people. As it turns out, the property is top-notch and is only embellished by the fine team of people who obviously take their cue from their fine leader Jo Jean.

My wife is so jealous and is anxiously waiting for our next trip to Fort Lauderdale as she knows that this is the only place we will ever stay in South Florida and has heard us raving about the property twice now. As a matter of fact, all of our business was in West Palm and Port St. Lucie, but we had such a great experience here before that the extra driving was well worth it for the pleasure of staying here.

Thanks again Jo Jean and team. You might not always know it or feel it, but you make the world a better place.... one guest at a time. Happy Holidays to you all !!! -Gian & Lois East.

Room Tip: All the rooms are equally great!

My wife and I stayed here for one night pre cruise. We had stayed here last year as well and based on that fact you can determine the stay was just fine. This hotel has clean rooms and are very comfortable in size, and the bathrooms are clean as well. The breakfast is more than adequate and the staff are very attentive to their guests. The room has a mini fridge which is convenient to keep a drink or light snack. If you have a car this hotel is perfect for the price you pay, the only issue would be if you don't see the entrance to the hotel in time you will miss it and it is a very long block to go around. This hotel is quiet, convenient and priced right for any stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the rear of the hotel so you are not facing the Main Street.

We chose this hotel based on other TA reviews, plus its proximity to the Cruise Port. It was some distance from Hollywood Airport, but well worth it!!

We were welcomed like "family" and treated as such! We arrived earlier than planned and staff kept apologizing for not having our room ready. "No problem", we said. "We'd love to just sit and relax." We were also upgraded to a suite and we hadn't even asked!!

We travel a lot and meet wonderful people everywhere we go, but you all beat everyone!! We must admit that the service we received here far exceeded our expectations!! Actually, we walked in and immediately felt at home. We also noticed that the staff really enjoyed working here and the Manager, Jo Jean, made a special point in welcoming us!! (I'm the one who admired the crayon coloured pics on your Office wall AND who got involved with "all the hugging" that was going on. As I said to you . . . "I'm a Hugger, too!!)

While we waited and read we enjoyed fresh coffee and hot tea, were each given a bottle of water with a snack and included in the joy and laughter in the Lobby. The Lobby was spotless and as far as the Staff was concerned, nothing was too much trouble!!

Our room - #516 - was huge!! King bed, big bathroom, lots of towels and toiletries, a couch, desk, microwave, mini fridge and a table for two in the kitchen area. And again. . . The room was spotless, thanks to Phyllis!! (She, too, told us she was sorry for taking so long to clean the room, but she didn't know when we were coming. I told her "Neither did we!!!") We were also thanked by all staff for choosing their HIE in which to stay!!! We felt really appreciated!!!!

There is a Guest Laundry in the hotel at very reasonable prices, which allowed us to do a few loads of wash. This was great, because it meant that we could start our cruise the next day with a suitcase full of clean clothes after 2 overnights to get here. And the bonus was that we got to sleep in the next morning AND enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast. What was not to like?! We were so impressed that I wrote a "Thank You" note to the Staff AND sent Head Office an e-mail before we left the next morning, telling them how wonderfully we were treated here!!!

In closing, here are the Pros & Cons: Pros - everything; Cons - nothing!!! I recommend this hotel without reservation (pardon the pun!)!! When you arrive for your stay, please say "Hi" to Aaron, Jo Jean, Mike, Ms Donna and Phyllis. Oh, and BTW . . . Ask Jo Jean for a hug, too!!!!

Room Tip: Based on the Suite we were upgraded to (w/o asking, I might add!!!!!) any room would be great. We al...

Stayed here for a night back in May and found the place very delightful! Took me roughly two hours to get there by bus from the International Airport to the Intersection of Powerline Rd. Walking the half mile is ok if you only have a small bag...Upon arriving at the hotel I was impressed. The great staff got me my room in no time at all. The room was awesome! Clean as can be and vending and ice machines were just down the hall. Everything looked new as you may see in the pictures. The bathroom was large and certainly handicap accessible if that may be a concern of yours. The breakfast was also wonderful. No shortage or limited variety here. If I recall there was a waffle maker, biscuits, gravy, bacon, donuts, bagels, scrambled eggs, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, plenty of fruit, sausage, cereal...and much more than I can remember! I left completely satisfied that morning. Getting to the executive airport made for a pleasant walk. Almost directly across the street. This airport is for smaller aircraft, and to be honest I never heard one inside the hotel during my stay. So please don't think sound may be an issue here. I know it may be a stretch and a bit to ask but I would love if they offered a shuttle service from the International Airport. It would also be nice if they offered more information in the room on places to eat and things to see and do. May I recommend if you don't have transportation, to give Jimmy John's a call. Best sandwiches around, and they deliver. They'll even come to your room if you like. Anyway, as far as the stay, no complaints here and it sure beats the outrageous prices at the Holiday Inn near the International Airport.

Room Tip: If you plan to order out during your stay and would like to meet the person at the front entrance, a...

The hotel was excellent, rooms were large and beds comfortable. The rooms were kept clean and neat with a nice selection of toiletries. The breakfast was very good and filling. I can't say enough good things about this property. It was convenient for our travel to Miami, the beaches and around the local area. The facility has security that actually walks the property throughout the night. The breakfast was good and convenient. Only con breakfast should start at 5:30 am during the week for those who have early morning flights.

Room Tip: Serves breakfast. Friendly staff especially the house keepers. The king sizes rooms are huge. Req...

Really clean room. Comfortable beds with high quality linen. Nice furnishings and bathroom updated. Staff really nice. Breakfast bar with yogurt, cereals, hard boiled eggs and omelet, sausage, gravy and bisquits, pastries, great cinnamon rolls, muffins and breads, and pancakes that were very good freshly made on the spot by an automatic pancake maker; very cool. Wish they had more fresh fruit. Only one banana left when we arrived 30 min prior to closing of breakfast bar. No complaints. Great price when compared to other places, especially with breakfast.
