This is one of the best hotels on the Ft Lauderdale Beach Strip!
We love it. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms are good sized
BUT...........THE BEDS ARE TOO SMALL! We are an averaged sized couple and the full sized beds are a nightmare to sleep in! PLEASE Switch to QUEEN SIZED BEDS!
We were there with our two children. Love the beach, love the food, love the service, love the
people, love the room...hate the LITTLE beds!

SPEND THE DOUGH.....GET SOME QUEEN SIZED BEDS....Have stayed here 3 times in the last two years. We would definately stay again.....IF YOU GET SOME QUEEN SIZED BEDS!

Psst....did you hear us? This is a great hotel....it would be even better with queen sized beds.

Room Tip: We have stayed in the beach side rooms and the regular rooms....either is great but they need bigger...

Spent 2 nights before leaving on a cruise. Very busy, large hotel, spread out over several buildings. Beach was nice, but reserved chairs/umbrellas were all taken, and there was a waiting list. (despite having that with our room). Next to the public beach so early morning activity was noisy. Room was clean, comfortable bed, small but adequate bathroom. Lots of old history around property with great bar.(older hotel that has been updated). Nightly mermaid show in bar windows too crowded, couldn't get near it. Easy to walk down to boardwalk for great dinner options.

Room Tip: On the beach side, close to the pool (there are 2). Higher up is quieter.

We stayed here last week for two nights. While people compained about the size of the property, I found it perfectly acceptable. We stayed across the road in a room with a view of the beach. The room was large and pretty clean. The hotel is not a four star but GREAT for the price. We had just returned from a cruise out of miami and I didnt' feel I was stepping down by staying here. The pool at the beach was nice and it was great to have complimentary beach chairs. I would say the pictures on the website are very accurate to what you get. We did not eat in the reastaurant but did see that it and the lounge were very busy on Saturday nights. The hotel is very convenient to most major roads and super close to the airport. We also used the valet service for our rental car and were happy with them. The girl who checked us in was very charming as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the beach in the second tower. We were across from the elevators and didn...

We stayed for 3 nights in the wheelchair friendly room as my husband is disabled, the room was spacious, had lovely views of the beach and the wheel-in-shower etc was great. However check in was busy as lots of people getting off coaches and checking in together and the reception area is too small for the size of the hotel, we had requested two rooms very close together if not next door the hotel had no record of this request despite us checking a few times, and the nearest they could do was 4 floors away! but at least in the same building. The hotel is split into 3 towers.

There is no storage for anything in the room which is fine for an overnighter but not for a family of 4 for 3 nights, the beds were also very small they were two double beds, luckily our children are young so fit fine into one but we squeezed onto the other. Most of the rooms do not have balconies this would have been a great asset considering the great location.

Breakfast at the hotel was nice but pricey, we had a nice breakfast over the road at the baha cabana for half the price, and it was overlooking the marina. Drinks at the hotel bars were also a bit high side it was $10 for a small glass of wine in the bar. Dinner out at 'coconut' was fantastic but be sure to make reservations we had to wait nearly an hour for a table.

Check out was chaos to put it mildly, there were 6 cruise ships leaving that day and I think most of the guests were staying at this hotel, the reception was so packed you had to fight the crowd to get through the main doors of the hotel, luggage was everywhere and a huge queue to check out, more staff and a larger reception would certainly benefit this hotel.

All in all we had a nice stay but the hotel seemed to struggle with so many guests, the Starbucks, pool bar etc were always crowded but we may have just stayed at a very busy time.

After a rocky start (our booking got lost) we were very happy in general with this hotel. Lunch at the beach bar was good and the view from the bar couldn't be beat. The bed was very comfortable and felt fairly new, with fresh white linens and pillows. The location was also good and quite near restaurants. There were a few things we didn't like so much. The first person we were in contact with at the desk didn't seem concerned that our reservation was not in the computer and just handed us back our booking information with a shrug. Sorry, we have no rooms available. Too bad. We spoke with the concierge and got everything straightened out fortunately because it's a very busy time in Fort Lauderdale and there were no beach hotel rooms available anywhere else either. The other little thing was that our room door didn't close properly and the second lock didn't work. Not a big problem as there was a security latch and the main lock was functioning. We would go back there as it was an interesting place to stay, right on the beach and full of people having fun.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not fronting on the pool area as it got a little noisy late at night.

Was nice for what we needed. We were leaving on a cruise and stayed here one night. Got an up-grade to ocean view (which was nice). We had to wait until about 3 to check in, which was about 4 hours after we arrived.

Nice restaurant on property, loved eating outside.

The room we got was nice and clean and very comfy. Nice linens and pillows. Loved the pillows so much bought them when we got home.

Pool was kinda small and beach area (in front of resort) was very crowded and chairs very close together.

Not sure if I would spend anymore than a couple of days here unless the price was right.

The hotel rooms are clean and very nice. Ambience is awesome and access is very easy. In-house restaurant is nice and breakfast is great.

Only shortfall is the freight trains which runs frequently, but this was not a bother to us. The bath was dated but very clean. There is doorman that assist you with your luggage, that was a very nice touch. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Our stay was lovely. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
