Is it the most up-to-date theater space? No. Is it the most attractive venue? No. Will you see the latest headliners there? No. However, you will still see a great show or can have a good conference or can hold a nice event there. It's clean, convenient and well cared for. It's scheduled for an update that will be welcome. And while the neighborhood may be questionable at times, during events there is always security.

Hello Phyllis! You painted the perfect picture of our auditorium! In its day, it was the place to see and be seen. This is where the Florida Grand Opera began its journey; so that tells people how long we have been around. Our first renovation was completed with the installation of new seats. We are looking forward to updating our sound and lighting system next. Thank you for reminding people that although we have a few wrinkles, we have a fabulous past and want to maintain our future.

Old and out dated, and located in the middle of a gay park. This is not where you want to be after dark.

Yes, we are old and outdated. We were built in 1950. However, we are under some renovations. I don't understand what you refer to our location as being a gay park. The auditorium is dedicated to the veterans that served our country. We have a new dog park and a Recreation Center. The park is open to all people from all walks of life. The park is also closed after dark and I agree that since it is closed, there is no reason why you would want to be there. However, we have a lot to offer during the day!

Easy entrance from Hwy #1, plenty of parking. Mainly used for events, shows, and attractions. I have attended many over the years. Restroom and concession spaces, also very nice outside landscaped space.

Recent took our students there for a field trip. I was impressed that the auditorium is still well cared for and clean. Not many venue are hosted there as many prefer the direct downtown area. War Memorial is a classic that still provides a great space for hosting any performance.

Building is tired needs a remodeling project. Parking was suppose to be free but there was a $6.00 a car charge. Lines were very long to park. While the do have handicap help its a problem to get to the show room floor due to stairs.

Thank you for pointing out that we are in need of a remodeling project as that is just what is going on right now. The first phase of our remodeling project is a rebuild of a new seating structure. There will be more remodeling improvements to come. We have handicap access to the left as you enter through the main doors and it is a ramp that goes directly to the floor. There is also another ramp in front of the building. I am sorry that someone did not point this out to you.
