This is a really nick Marriott Hotel..Great location. Great Service. Pools and Beach are wonderful. Has several place to eat..good bar...try it you will not be disappointed...Priced a little high in peak season but worth the experience...

Room Tip: All the rooms are great but I like a higher floor to really get a great view of the beach and cruise...

I stayed at this place for a corporate event and I was impressed by the performnace of the hotel and culinary staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities, and the hotel perseonnel from the house keeping to the maitre d'hotel were very kind. I am definitely going to spend some time again for vacation at this place.

Beautiful getaway! For couples or just for family vacation. You could it all in this hotel no need to drive anywhere around. Beautiful private beach and pools on site. Outstanding customer service since you arrive to the hotel everyone stops to greet you and everypne wants to make sure that you are having a pleasant time. Beautiful ocean views from the rooms.

The hotel is very nice and is right on the beach. The staff is very accomodating everyone was very friendly and helpful, this goes beyound the Front Desk, Restaurant and right down to housekeeping. The rooms were spacious and nice, had a balcony that overlooked the Inner Harbour. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Fort Lauderdale.

Stayed here for two nights, the chairs and umbrellas on the beach were nice as was the pool area. Food was typical hotel food, but was nice to sit right by the beach and eat, although you pay for that.

Rooms were well maintained and clean. One note is that the pictures makes it look like the hotel is out on its own, this is not the case, there are other hotels built up right next to it now.

Just spent 6 wonderful days at this hotel. Had a wonderful ocean view room. Service was outstanding, staff extremely friendly and courteous. Check-in and check-out service was quick with no delays. The grounds are nicely kept, rooms are up to date, proximity to beach was within a short walking distance. Starbucks in lobby was a nice plus. Very kid friendly, even nice for those families who have older kids Easy to get to from the airport and convinently located and short driving distance to everything, My only complaint if you want to consider it a complaint is the garage parking fee was a bit steep at 25 dollars a night for self service was high.

Room Tip: Always take a look at your bill to ensure that you are not doubled billed on your credit card.

I stayed at this resort for a long weekend. The property is well taken care of and has the feel of a Carribean resort. The views are spectacular, the beach front is awesome. Watching the crusies sail out adds a nice touch to the whole resort experience. Rooms are clean and have everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff is friendly and very welcoming to your needs. Pool is beautiful and the waterfall adds a nice touch. The food and drinks are a little pricey, but is expected. Restaurants on property on listed as the best in South Florida. If your planning on staying here go in the off season, when there are less crowds. You'll feel like you have the whole resort to yourself. I might add the resort functions as a semi country club so you may see a lot of day-trippers with kids on the weekends. Great resort!

What I love about this hotel is the location; it's right on the beach. This is a huge selling point especially while traveling with kids. The employees were so nice and friendly, seriously everyone we talked to and came in contact with was genuinely nice and made extra effort to be friendly with our toddler.

The pool is awesome, very big and has a deep end (looks like you may even be able to swim laps on the deep side of the pool). There is a cool waterfall next to the pool too. There were plenty of events happening at the hotel that were kid friendly. We were there for the beach, so we did not participate, but all looked like fun (especially evening movies). Thank you to the hotel for offering sand toys at the beach! Lots of rinsing stations, cold drinking water was provided at the beach and the pool. The pool had plenty of shade areas, which I really liked.

The room was great , even though we did not get ocean front, the view was still very good. Yes, as others have noted there is a cement wall covering up about 1/3 of the balcony, but I did not think that was a big deal. Granite counters in the bathroom and dresser are a really nice touch. Bathroom counter has plenty of space for all the girl stuff and 2 extra shelves in the corners were very handy (great feature IMO). Bathroom was clean and bright. For some reason there was not a bathroom fan, so it can get a little steamy when everyone takes their showers (not a big deal though).
Yes the food and drinks are expensive, but I would expect that in a nice hotel on the beach. There are plenty of restaurant choices within easy walking distance. You have to pay for beach umbrellas, I'd say this is more of an fyi than a con.
We did not try out the onsite childcare or the gym, but both seemed very nice.
Overall, this is a great place that is very well run. I would love to come back again.

Tips - If you are flying consider taking a cab in lieu of a car rental. The hotel is so close to the airport its worth not having to deal with a car. Happy Hour at the hotel bar 5-7 (I may be slightly off on the time).
