I don't understand the negative reviews. Our stay was great. We had two rooms in the Tower Water Intracoastal View for about $100. The corner view was spectacular. The front desk was very efficient and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, Because we arrived early and room wasn't quite ready, we went to the Tiki Bar for refreshments. The service was great and drinks very good. The bell hop was very friendly and helpful. As we wanted to explore a little, the concierge was very helpful and the Bimini Boatyard Restaurant she recommended for seafood was a very short walk from the hotel. Our table was right on the water and the food was excellent. The van to the cruise terminal was only $6 and was great. Overall an awesome experience.

Room Tip: The rate dropped as we got closer to the sailing date so check the rate periodically. The Water Tow...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 days in December. We paid around 100$/night but were overall unsatisfied with the cleanliness and comfort and would not return. There is a shuttle directly to the cruise ships for a nominal cost and a few small restaurants within walking distance. But don't plan on walking to the beach, it's far. The room we stayed in was renovated in the past 10 years but the bathtub was still broken and the elevator was slower than molasses on a cold winter night.

Positives:
- Location
- Customer service
- Price

Negatives:
- Cleanliness
- Cost of parking (20$/day)
- Distance from beach
- Constant event schedule (Busy and noisy)

I think that the mixed reviews are due to the hotel division. If you get a cheap room you will stay in the old and poorly renovated side on the hotel. If you pay more then you will likely stay in one of the towers and enjoy the experience more than we did.

Dear Mr. T,
Thank you for staying with us. We’re sorry you were less than pleased. All of our guest rooms are the same size, décor and furnishings, and were renovated at the same time. The primary variation is the view. Our parking rates are among the lowest in the Fort Lauderdale beach area. A complete modernization has been approved for our West Villa elevators and is being designed and manufactured, with installation this year. We hope you will return when your travels bring you back to Fort Lauderdale and experience our improvements.
Warm regards,

Stayed here in a Junior Suite over looking the marina... This was very nice as was Richard who bought our bags up to our room and Christopher from breakfast.

We paid a lot for our room.... When we arrived we went down to the Grill for dinner and granted it was busy....however the hour wait for dinner was too long and the fish was only just warm! The staff were apologetic they don't cook the food so no worries with them.

Went to the lobby lounge for a hot cocoa and dessert.... No milk so could only offer tea... The only cups available were the 20 oz PAPER CuPs.... Yes all cups are paper.... Terrible.

One would think that the Hilton would have enough milk and real cups especially when they are charging $3 - 5 for a cup of tea with a tea bag.

On checkout, odd charges on our card... Question the staff, they have no idea... Three staff later they work out its hold for things already paid for.

The room was noisy with People arriving at 3am and chatting in the corridors... We are HHonors members and would expect some basics!

Insufficient hanging room for three towels in the bathroom...

Overall Poor!

The Hilton is perfectly located if you are cruising. We had a spectacular view of the Port and the marina. Our room was on the corner so we had FABULOUS views. The morning we were set to board our ship we took a quick walk over to Walgreens to pick up last minute essentials. The hotel decor is modern and the lobby has multiple seating areas. We had food and drinks at the bar and it was good. Our only regret was that we did not arrive earlier to enjoy this property even more.

Room Tip: Request a higher floor, corner room, with views of the Port.

Dear Breaun,
We’re delighted that you enjoyed our convenient and beautiful location and our spectacular views of the reasons Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America. We are the closest hotel to Port Everglades with the best views of the ships as they enter and leave port. We hope you will come back soon.

Firstly we had a Tower room booked which was not available on check in and were given a standard instead. Checked their website and Tower rooms were available for our 2nd night but we were big offered to change. The corridor to our room requires some refurbishment as the carpets are very stained.
The staff at the pool bar deliver very poor service. At times there are 5 of them and you still wait 10-15 mins to be served. The charm is turned on though when you are settling your bill as no doubt the tip is required.
Breakfast was very expensive at $46 for very little.
To top it off we went out for the day & returned after 4pm. Our room had not been serviced and apparently stay over rooms are only done after 5pm.
Overall the service is this property is lacking and I was quite disappointed with my Hilton experience

Dear Premierinndublin,
Thank you for staying with us! We regret that it’s not always possible to grant every guest’s room preference during our busy season. The carpets throughout our hotel are only five-years old and have not held up well to heavy use despite frequent vacuuming and shampooing. We are replacing corridor carpets in the Tower now and will replace all guest room and corridor carpeting over the next year. Housekeeping services are provided until 5 pm daily, which means that some rooms are not cleaned until late afternoon. Guests are welcome to request service at a desired time. We have shared your comments about G Bar, poolside, service with the manager.

Upon arriving we were given our room card in the west tower. 1. Only 2 elevators serviced this tower and one was out of order. After long waits for the working elevator the ride between floors was bouncy and stopped before getting to the floors. 2. Requested a balcony overlooking the water on making reservation. Was given a room overlooking the highway. 3. Walls were so thin you could hear the conversations in the room next to us. Noisy halls with children playing chase in them. The street traffic was so loud to hinder our sleep. Did not get the service we had looked forward to. Buffet breakfast was advertised as free . We paid $22.00 each and could have gotten a better breakfast down the street at Denny's. Overall would not give them a rating as everything was underpar. Not recommend to anyone.

Dear Moo17J2002,
We regret that we were not able to give you the room preference you requested – during busy high season months when we’re close to sold out, this occasionally happens. We have tried to repair the two elevators in our West Villa, without success; a complete modernization has been approved and is being designed and manufactured, with installation early 2014. Our breakfast buffet is included with some packages and for some Honors members.

Found the hotel old and in need of renovation. Stayed in the east wing. Needed to call maintenance because a hinge on the bathroom door was making a loud clicking noise. Also, the breakfast while nice became a problem since the staff was not able to keep the various food items filled. One had to wait sometimes up to 15 minutes. The staff was very nice and the pool side bar was relaxing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool

Dear FC,
We appreciate your staying with us and taking time to share your experiences. We’re sorry you were disappointed. We do occasionally have quite a rush of guests during breakfast that stretches our capacity and we’re working to remedy that. We’re pleased you enjoyed our nice staff and the G Bar and Grill, poolside.
