We stayed here on oct 22,2011. It is our normal place to stay because it is close to the cruise port. We were leaving on the cruise ship Allure of the Seas the following morning. We have no complaints about the hotel. It is always clean, and we enjoy the manager's reception in the evening, and the free breakfast the following morning. The only comment I have is that we requested a port view room,(which we requested when we made our online reservation. Upon arriving at the hotel around 11am, we were told that a port view cannot be determined until 3pm checkin time. they reserved a room but it was not port view. I find this explanation faulty logic, because if a room can be reserved, then why not a port view at that time since we requested it. What further exasperated this logic from the front desk, is later in the evening, we saw 3 empty rooms on the corner having port view rooms, but since we were already in a room, we didn't want to move ourselves after we were settled in our room. The effort wouldn't be worth it..

We stayed two nights prior to a cruise. Changed rooms after the first night due to the noisy refrigerator. Second room was good. Nice to be able to shut a door between the living room and bedroom portion of the suite. Cuts out a lot of noise. The pool and outside was fabulous. Managers reception was crowded, but free drinks, anything you wanted, tends to draw a crowd! Delores at the check in desk was so friendly and helpful. She was the epitome of southern charm! Breakfast was very good. Omelettes cooked to order as well as a large selection of other favorites. Coffee was great.

My husband and my stay at this hotel the day before our cruise was a great experience. The staff were courteous and helpful. They were friendly and really made us feel welcomed. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very clean. I was more impressed with the staff though. They were just a lot of help in ensuring that we had everything we needed. The happy hour was truly wonderful. The bartenders and the company made it an electrifying time for my husband and I. It was good. The breakfast was great. The shuttle ride to the ship was non-stressful. All in all...I had a wonderful stay here and will gladly use this as a regular for any trips when I come to Ft. Lauderdale.

Our stay at this hotel for pre-curise was wonderful. The service was excellent and the close proximity to shopping, restaurants and, of course, the beach was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great place for a pre-cruise stay. We found it very quiet - suites have the bedroom in the back away from the open breakfast atrium so morning noise isn't a problem.Nightly reception was very nice, with good drinks and service. Breakfast is excellent and well managed considering the crowd. We choose for pre-cruise for a great rest and to take advantage of nearby restaurants like the Quarterdeck.

Room Tip: Stay away from the elevator (isn't this true eveywhere?)
