This Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Starting with the valets and ending with check out we had a good time.

I had an ocean front room that looked over the pool and beach. also these arent side views, it is a straight balcony for full enjoyment. It had flat screen tv and marble bathroom and sink. Everything was very clean and bed super comfortable. Only issue was the shower/tub had what looked like white paint or something on the tub sides. The toilet was also old.

The good- Staff are very nice. i broke 2 ribs the day before coming and couldnt lift any bags. the valets loaded all our stuff (8 bags) and brought them up to the room. They are not concierge, they are valets so they didnt have to help like they did. Bonus, when you come to get your car, they run out to it and get back quick.

The bad- the hotel is old. it was probably 4 star back in the day, but it is in need of remodeling. The hallways have old carpet and half the doors have black marker for the room numbers. Also the doors don't open or close easily.

Whenever we checked into this hotel, we automatically got blown away by tons of charges we were never aware of. I called 3 weeks in advance at least once a week to check on our reservations and the front desk workers never told us about anymore of the charges they told us everything was paid an the room was ready. When we get there that was a different story, the management and employees were the rudest people I have ever encountered, the first room we were in smelled just like pee and did not even have lights or a shower door. The next room we had to clean ourselves the whole week because the house keeping would not come clean. They told us they only changed the sheets every 4 days and would never allow us to have enough clean towels. If we had any complaints the management would send over sketchy shots no apologies just alcohol? When visiting the beach, they security checked our bags and we weren't allowed to bring out our own food and drinks...this place is just hungry for money!!! We ended up checking out a day early because of how dissatisfied, the employee then informed me of more charges that we were not paying, he then told me he "had my credit card number he would get the payment one way or another". I have never been so disrespected and shocked in my entire life. I would definitely not recommend this hotel or trash pit to anyone.

We were upgraded to 1016. It was a suite. Beautiful marble floors, granite counter tops, full kitchen. Full dining room table and chairs that were nice. King bed in bedroom which was nice. The handle on the dishwasher was very loose. No dishsoap or dishwasher soap was provided. The white leather couch was a little dirty. The flowered cloth couch and chair were filthy and the couch was ripped. The pub table in the corner of the room had a large crack down the middle of it. 2 bath towels were provided (there was 3 of us). We asked for more, we didn't get them, had to go to the desk and ask. Coffee was not provided. Making coffee the first morning, coffee maker seemed to be plugged up. While cleaning it out a COCKROACH crawled out of the back of the coffee maker! The hallway to the room was something out of a horror movie. This truly had not been updated since 1952 when the hotel was built. OMG. The door to our suite had to have been an original door. There was no bedbugs though (thank god) and we only saw 1 cockroach. :( The location is great - right on the beach. The Tiki Bar was fun and the food was good there. Service at the Tiki Bar was great and the food was great. We rented beach chairs one day and the table we were given was cracked up. Someone needs to be in charge here and tighten up the maintenance, housekeeping and grounds crew. Lots of little things that add up. It's a shame because it could really be a diamond again if it were cleaned up a little more. I should add that the views from our room were OUTSTANDING.

Room Tip: I'm not really sure...

We had a great time at this Hotel. Staff is very pleasant and the Hotel has great views. We are vegetarian and the waiter named Dan went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. High end hotel.

Hotel is under renovation, but looks like things are slow to progress. This place is average, nothing special except the location. You can't beat it - right on the beach. Tiki Bar and beach are very nice but be warned you have to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas and you can't take your own. Same with drinks (even water) - need to buy theirs. Two chairs and an umbrella is $20.00 per day so for a week's stay it adds up. We stayed in a privately owned condo so our room was fine. I'd stay again as the location is well worth it.

Room Tip: Find a privately owned condo in the building!

We stayed here because it was right on the ocean with an ocean view and it was really cheap. This hotel was the most popular hotel for as long as we walked on the beach. It was during spring break so all the spring breakers were there. It really depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel this is not for you. If you are looking for a quiet hotel where you can sleep at night this is not for you. If you are looking for a hotel on the ocean for a good price and like to stay up late you may like this hotel. The hotel is a little dirty and in need of a remodel. It is a little outdated. My biggest complaint was being woken up multiple times a night - "Woot Woot" Spring Break! The halls echo like crazy even when people try to be quiet you can hear everything they say.

That being said, they have a really good breakfast on the patio next to the beach for a really good price. The parking isn't bad compared to parking in Miami if you rent a car. It is within walking distance to a really good restaurant "Greek Tavern" as well as a grocery store and Walgreens. It is also within walking distance to a dive shop and a pier with shopping. It is in a great location and we rented through an owner of the condo for a deal we couldn't pass up.

I recently visited Ocean Manor with my family and our stay couldn't have been better! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the location was unbelievable! Sarah at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our room and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time at the beach and Tiki Bar. The food and service at the Tiki Bar couldn't have been better either! The owner personally came and greeted us to make sure we were happy. The Ocean Manor really made our trip memorable and we look forward to coming back here for many years to come. I would highly recommend this hotel!
