“Good food at a fair price”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Bravo is a Ft. Lauderdale tradition for many years. The Italian food is good and plentiful and served by a very friendly staff. Great for family Sunday meals and just a fine spot to drop into for "honest" food.

“Probably won't return”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We hadn't been to Bravo in a few years, but had a $40.00 dining certificate from Living Social and thought we'd give it another try. We arrived at 6:15 PM and saw that they had a 2 for 1 Happy Hour from 4 to 7 PM. My wife ordered a glass of Savignon Blanc and was told that it was not included for Happy Hour, but she could have Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. I ordered Dewar's and water and was told that only well drinks were 2 for 1. My wife ordered Chardonnay and I ordered a well scotch. I then showed the waiter my Living Social certificate. I was then told that 2 for 1 drinks were not given to customers with the certificate. I ordered chicken parmesan which was probably the blandest I have had in years. Now I know why we haven't been there in years. The food was very average at best. Those dining certificates (Living Social, Groupon, Restaurant.com, etc.) are supposed to get customers to try a restaurant and come back again. Bravo tried their best to discourage a return visit. There are many Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale far superior. Don't waste your time at Bravo.

“A little off from previous years but still good food at a good price.”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

Been going here regularly for the past several years and it has always been an excellent experience. This last time, just a little off their good marks. Sever kept asking way too often if we were ready to order even though we were looking over the menus with our wine.

The specials are an excellent value and quite tasty. Would easily recommend any of them.

Finally, the garlic rolls are the best ever and worth the trip by themselves

“Been going here over twenty years”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

We have been enjoying Bravo for over twenty years and it is one of the places in Fort Lauderdale that we can feel comfortable recommending to friends since the quality is consistent. Our last few visits we have enjoyed the fact that they have outside seating. While this may not appeal to some, coming from the North East we want to enjoy outside dining as much as possible. While speaking with one of the partners we learned that the same chef has been cooking here for over twenty years, which is quite uncommon in many restaurants. The food is great and the staff very personable. Being still off season they had some early dinners priced at $10 and some appetizers for around $6. Two of our party of six chose the $10 meals since they are small eaters and were impressed with the size of the meals, they still couldn't finish them. I had the Veal Sinatra which has been one fo my favorites there for years. Of course the garlic rolls are simply great. We will certainly be returning on our future vsits to Fort Lauderdale and continue to recommend this restaurant to friends

“Loved this place”
Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

Started with a giggle when we asked for a table for 2 (we are British and the waiter imitated our accent) so as a punishment I asked that Paul served us, in return I would teach him some British phrases and he would serve us and teach us the rules of American Football.
The food was lovely, chicken parmigiana and veal parmigiana, pulled high with spaghetti on the side. The homemade garlic rolls are lovely and you can have plain rolls if Garlic is not your thing.
Was good value made more special by the great service, we would definitely go back here next time we are in town.
Only negative is it is tricky to find, the sign is on the road in red, but you need to drive round the car park to find it.
