The room was not especially clean, though not especially dirty either. Our first room smelled like mold and the bath kept filling up. Apparently there was a plumbing problem that also caused the carpet to get wet (hence the moldy smell). After putting in a drying fan for a couple of hours, they attempted to put a spray on the carpet (for the smell to go away), at which point I asked to just switch rooms. We were offered a room that had been smoked in, and prefered to stay in the mold infested bad plumbing room, until we were finally moved to a room with no plumbing issues, but that also smelled from mold. I think the hotel was flooded or had an issue at some point- becuase the rooms just smell like mold.
There was no functioning internet in the room (though internet worked well in our previous room). The front desk had no idea what to do about it- you have to call a toll free number that connects with India..so we just gave up on the in-room internet. There is a computer by the lobby that you can use instead.
PROS: Hotel has in-room microwave and mini -fridge. Hall has vening machines. Supplies a free breakfast. Though I wouldn't call it "continental"- a very slim variety of dry muffins, bread, bagels, and cereal.
CONS: We were told the pool was heated but it was freezing.
they charge $10-$12/night for a baby crib. We drove to the nearest wal Mart and bough a pack and play for $30 that we took back home with us.
In short- we paid a fortune ($160/night) for a hotel worth $50/night. I would prefer to stay elsewhere next time.

This was a return stay at the Best Western, and while we did have an overall nice stay we did encounter a few problems. We took the shuttle from the airport, it was a prompt and friendly. Our check in was a breeze. We were on the second floor, the hotel is very clean, but a little loud. The ice machine in the hall echoed a lot during the night and also loud slamming doors throughout the night. With the hotel being so close to the airport and cruise ports, I'm sure that they have travelers in and out all night long, maybe that explaines the slamming doors. Breakfast is okay, again they strive to keep the place clean and friendly.

We walked to our rental car company, Sunshine, about a mile, got our car came back and checked out. It all went nice.

A week later we returned and I called about an hour before we got there to inquire about a walk in rate, we had no reservations, but did have one of those coupon books. The rate was cheaper than the week before so we took it. Check in again went smooth, we told the front desk we had called and were quoted a rate of $109. No problem.

Had dinner next door Pizza, there is also a Mc Donalds, subway, WinnDixsey within walking distance. Lounged around the pool, nice and roomy, clean. Another kind of loud night, people mostly.

Check out at 11 the next day, we were charged $240 the night. My husband told the man that we were quoted the $109 rate. This was the same gentleman that had checked us in. He asked if we had any proof of the rate, we said no, but he was the one that quoted it. Well then he must have "remembered" and gave us the $109 rate.

Again it was a nice stay, but from here on , if we stay here,we will be sure to get "proof" of our rate.

The rooms were really clean. Great location and the breakfast included was above expectations. The pool area was clean and tidy. We spent 4th July in Fort Lauderdale and everybody went out of their way to make us part of their celebrations.

Our family needed two hotel rooms, near the airport, for one night, that were clean and did not smell of old cigarette smoke. We were not looking for anything more than a place to sleep before a 6AM flight out of Fort Lauderdale. This Inn appeared to meet our needs, according the posted reviews on TripAdvisor. After finding a very good rate on hotels.com, I called this Inn directly and they honored my Internet rate. The Inn had recently been renovated and our rooms were like new, which is more than we really expected. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would recommend this Inn to our friends and will stay there again.

Room and breakfast were standard, but no internet access available. I was told that only four rooms have wireless connection, with wired LAN in the remaining rooms. However, none of the LAN connections worked which is a big drawback for business travellers. Also, some of the keys do not work with the room locks.
