Nice hotel, superbely decorated and maintained. Staff is at your feet and really really helpful. They are willing to answer all of your needs. Shuttles (golf cart, Escalade, boat) are great and very useful. Pool environment is nice but pool itself has no sun before 2pm. It's a must to stay there where in FLL even when you want to hit the beach. They even do the nightly turndown of the rooms.

Place is at a great location. Facility is new - only 2 years old. Facilities are top notch. Hotel is located on the intercoastal, with the beach only a few blocks away. Recommend going for a walk along the beach in the morning, going back to their buffet breakfast (not very elaborate, but everything is great - don't miss the home made granola bars), than putting on a bathing suit, hit the hot tub and then stretch out on a lounge chair for 2 overlooking the intercoastal. For those unfamilar with this area hotel paid parking is usually $25/night. They only charge $15 - it is a deal. Staff was extremely attentive.

This hotel was a new condominium that was turned into a Summit Hotel, and is only 3 years old according to our valet. Every single person on the staff we met went out of their way to make us feel at home. We went with my 17 year old to celebrate her birthday and she had several of her friends over during the day. They had a ball. The rooms are spacious and clean, and everything about this hotel feels new, because it is! The balcony was also quite big.The pool is on the North side of the hotel and was in the shade all day long. They have about 6 or 7 double sofas overlooking the intracoastal that were really nice spots to sit and read or relax. The beach is a 2 block walk, or the valet will take you and your party in a golf cart that seated 12 of us. A strip of 4 great restaurants was a block away, overlooking the intracoastal (Shooters, Taverna Opa, Charley's Crab, and La Playa). There is no smoking anywhere on the grounds, so everything smelled new. The most impressive part of our weekend saty was the staff. They all seemed genuinely happy to work there, and when one is on vacation, that goes a very long way!! Fully recommend.

This was an excellent hotel for a small weekend getaway. Great deal for the quality of hotel. The valet sometimes took a while though, so pack your patience. The pool area was small, but they do have a nice spot to lay out that's looking over the intracoastal. It's within walking distance of some cool restaurants in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, but not really walking distance to the nightlife on Fort Lauderdale beach or Las Olas. They had a free driver service for us when we were there...I think they'll take you anywhere in a 3 mile radius of the hotel, so definitely take advantage of that. Make sure you get the hotel's number when you use it though as you have to call them back when you want to be picked up.

Would stay here again for sure!

The rooms are awesome! The balcony is nice - get a room overlooking the Intracoastal. The kitchen is fully-stocked, and the bed - super comfortable. The free ride in the Escalade is cool - ask to be taken down to Las Olas - you can take the Water Taxi back to the hotel and it's only $7 after 7 p.m. The hotel is also in walking distance to Walgreens, a really good pizza place, laid back bars and yummy restaurants. The beach is across the street. Staff was OK - I guess it depends on who you get.
