We were recommended this place by the concierge at the pillars hotel it's a steady walk from the hotel or a quick ride by the water taxi we got there a bit early it opens at 11.30 but they gave us water and a seat the staff are so friendly it makes it totally worth while, very well trained on the ball and look after you 100% on top of that the waiter suggested the skoobies which are hot crab claws in garlic oil with loads more going on as a starter and they were fantastic so much so we went back 3 days in a row to have more! For the main I had the crab cakes with tomatoe side which was pure crab and delicious think you could share really as you got two massive ones, my husband had coconut shrimp which was gorgeous and the jumbo lay not sure how you spell it but he didn't really like it too much rice and spicy he should have stuck with the fish like me, the atmosphere is great lots of local people use this place so that tells you how good it is

For a Midwesterner that only gets to visit out kids a couple of times per year Coconuts is "our spot" for memories, good food and Good service.

My Blackened Mahi was very tasty and the grilled asparagus were cooked perfectly.

While this might not be 5 star, everyone enjoyed out meals and the chefs was very accommodating for dairy and gluten concerns.

Can't wait to return with the kids again soon.

We ate here five out of our six days. Outstanding service and food. We are in the restaurant business and the service and food was amazing.

Highly recommend.

Thought the food was average but the prices were high. Evidently this is a popular restaurant though. A couple people recommended it and they were packed.

We always go to Coconuts while visiting Ft. Lauderdale and while we enjoy the seafood and look forward to the oysters which are great, we had a little plip this time. Most of the ladies ordered lobster salad and one had a hard membrane which cut her lip. The waitress was so nonchalant and dismissive we had to call it to the attention of the manager. He apologized and comp'd the salad but it was a disappointing experience.
