We go to Coconuts every time we stay in Ft. Lauderdale before a cruise. We love the location on the Intercoastal waterway, especially if we can get a table on the patio. We love the scoobie appetizer and usually order the fish. We always get great service, even if they are busy. Their key lime pie is a great dessert. After dinner we walk it off looking at all the yachts in the Marina!

Staying at a nearby hotel on the beach, we stopped by here for supper and dined outside on the patio on a beautiful Florida evening. Atmosphere and service were very good. Had Conch fritter for an appetizer, Mahi-mahi and snapper for the mains. Declined dessert because we were headed for a cruise! Nice to sit and watch the traffic on the waterway. All in all, we enjoyed Coconuts and would go back.

Great place walking distance from out hotel. Great friendly customer service. They offer a wideassortment of beer the beer enthusiast. So reat much food options to choose from that you have to go more than once. I had the crab cake and devil eggs...excellent.

Free valet parking was great. Had booked a table on the deck which was a great spot.

The decor, table and chairs are all a bit cheap but the place is packed and not cheap so you know straight away that it's all about the food.

Our waiter Tally was absolutely amazing with a great personality and even better sense of humour. We mad oysters to start, followed by lobster bisque and Oyster stew ( both finger licking good). We then had the lobster pot and the snapper, again both delicious. We shared the key lime pie which was the only part of our dinner that disappointed a bit.

The place is very busy and we were unlucky to sit close to a slightly drunk party of 8 that was a bit raucous and loud so don't go there if you are looking for a relaxed or romantic dinner.

They also sell some great T-shirts.

Friends from Canada while on vacation in Florida invited us for a brunch. We ended up in Coconuts Waterside. Waited 50 minutes before seating, at last accepted to seat inside.

The food was good, the service oke, but the restaurant far too full to really enjoy a conversation and eat at the same time. Moreover the prices were far too high. And, they included 18 % service charge without asking.

I trust that if one reserves a place during the week one gets enthousiatic as some of the Tripadvisor reviews show, but for me it was a disappointing trip (Miami-Lauderdale) to meet with my friends.
