“Still a great place for lunch”
Reviewed December 18, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

On a recent trip to Florida I made a special trip to Coconuts as had visited this great spot several times a few years ago while attending a diving course at the (then adjacent) Prodive centre.
The location is fabulous overlooking the marina and the restaurant has now taken over much of the floor space previously occupied by the dive shop adding a great oyster bar. The food and service were impeccable with a wide selection to choose from and some excellent specials. The oysters in particular were superb. Will definitely return if in the Fort Lauderdale area again.

“Very good kitchen”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Since we were staying in the Marriott this right across the street. Based on the reviews we ate there the first night and came back the second night. No need to go somewhere else if this quality is nereby. Excellent views - we both had the high seats and a table on the waterfront. We had several dishes that were all very good quality. The coconut shrimp platter is so delicious but the jambalaya tasted also very well. Service was perfect.

“Relaxed atmosphere in an outdoor venue to enjoy a great meal”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Loved the atmosphere of Coconuts. Our table was on the waterfront where we could relax and watch boaters on the water. The food was absolutely wonderful. Service was outstanding! I had the blackened mahi sandwich which I strongly recommend.

“Great Place - Great food”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

Just across the street from our hotel and was recommended to us by hotel staff. What a great place with some cool views of the ICW and boats. Service was excellent and the food we had (Corvina and Mahi Mahi) great. We decided to sit at a "high table" in the bar area to get seated right away - the place was really crowded and outdoor seating required a longer wait. As it turned out we could see right over everyone and had a great view after all. We noticed that all the waiters were helping each other out which really sped up service - the reason is an 18% service charge added to all bills, so everyone shares the tips. We liked it and the service and added an additional 2%. This place is one block off the beach behind the Marriott, check it out.
