I finally had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and was not disappointed. For the most part, the staff was nice and helpful, with the exception of few rude people here and there. We got an excellent room upgrade as part of the SPG gold benefits, which was one of the residences in tower II (Tower II is definitely quieter than Tower I, which was nice). These rooms are spacious, well decorated, have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as a nice jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Valet was very efficient, and promptly greeted us at all times. Steak954 always has excellent food, and nothing tops off the mesmerizing jellyfish tank. The building has two fatal flaws, however, which is that the lobby elevators are extremely slow and smell like burnt oil all the time, and that Tower II does not have a service elevator, which means that staff uses the guest elevators as well.
