I can't say enough about The Worthington/Alcazar! Great rooms, fantastic, friendly staff and excellent location! Very comfortable beds, relaxing patios and pools. We stayed on the Alcazar side and plan to try the Worthington side next tim. Already planning a return trip!

Room Tip: either side is great, want to try the Worthington side next time...

Had a wonderful time at the Alcazar/Worthington Resort. Staff are amazingly friendly and willing to help. Rooms are kept clean, love the gym.

Guests range from younger to older, slim to bigger, every color of the rainbow; basically the entire spectrum of the gay culture. Everyone is friendly and respectful.

The resort hosts a weekly Saturday happy hour, which is very nice with drinks and finger food.

Would definitely come back.

Room Tip: I stayed in the Studio Double Queen Room (219), the window faces the street, which isnt too bad sinc...

Great location and the staff very friendly........beach only a stones throw and taxi to Wilton Manors about $15. Great change from the chain hotels and met some nice guests.
Would recommend without a doubt and thanks for a great stay.

I have traveled extensively and have stayed in the best hotels. I must say that the Worthington is among the best. You don't need expensive furniture to have a great time. The room was immaculate. The staff , very warm and friendly. They made it clear that they were there for the guest. I was sorry to leave. I guarantee that I will be back very soon.

Room Tip: I suspect that there are no bad rooms. I was on the second floor and, while the hotel was full, ther...

Easy-going atmosphere and clientele, clean and spacious rooms, two lovely pools, a jacuzzi, very usable gym, friendly staff, good location (one-block walk from the beach, which means no traffic noise), ample breakfast bar. Lounge by the pool all day, as I did, enjoying the quiet and sunshine. This is not a full-adrenaline booming-sound-system kind of place, so you don't have to be "on." Saturday afternoon's open-bar happy hour was a really nice surprise. The clientele during my stay was primarily 40+ white couples looking to relax in a judgment-free, casual, friendly space. I loved my large, comfortable room in the Alcazar half of this understated, retro-chic "twin hotel."

Room Tip: Alcazar side is slightly more remote, with additional entry access via back gate, so you don't h...

I had an awesome experience first time at this Resort, the staff was very friendly even the cleaning crew, I went with two friends and by the time I left i had made several other friends. Unlike any place I've ever been. The location was great, rooms were clean and bug/lizard free I didn't have one issue at all. I highly recommend it. I am surely going to book again and bring more friends.

Room Tip: Alcazar side area was very quiet

9.30pm Friday night:

Don't be late for checkin, even if you have paid 1/3 of your entire stay as the deposit- and sent an email confirming that you would be arriving late but confirming our stay.
In fairness we were a day late due to an error with the previous hotel booking and until arrival did not realise this.

We were told on arrival by Jim:

"Sorry, we have resold your room, we thought you were not coming, you didn't reply to our email", (which we had). We were also told at this point that there would be no refund on the deposit nor additional amounts paid, remember at no time did we tell them we weren't coming and the room had been paid for for three nights.

Additionally: As a tourist in a foreign country, we were not given any support or suggestion for alternative accommodation by Jim even though around the cnr was a newley renovated gay resort Royal Palms.

To say we were disappointed and perhaps a little worried would be an understatement.

*Jim, the GM of the hotel was aggressive and rude.
*At a quick glance the outdoor facility did look a little dated.

I would NOT to be recommending this hotel to anyone in the future.
We ended up staying at Royal Palms around the Cnr, The establishment was amazing, extremely clean, Staff were helpful and friendly.
