We stayed 1 night at the Cocobelle the day we arrived in Miami from New York. The location for us was perfect, two blocks from the beach, and a short walk to a CVS and restaurants. There was plenty of parking available, the rooms were large, very clean, cool and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, from the shower, hot water, fridge, airconditioning, lights, television, WIFI, ... We did not use the pool, but it looked great. Very relaxed and quiet place to stay, I would stay there again for sure, next time we would like to stay a bit longer to enjoy the pretty surroundings and the swimming pool of course ;)

Chose this hotel because of the great reviews here and were happy we did. This was just a short one night stay before heading north and it was perfect in every way. We were given room #4 which looked exactly like it does on the hotel web page. The room was spotless, fresh and airy and the pool was sparkling clean. The location is slightly off the main ocean strip but a very quick safe few block walk to the beach, restaurants, public bus and the Sun Trolley. This hotel would work for both short and long stays as the room has kitchen basics of coffee maker, fridge and toaster. Cups, bowls, silverware and wine glasses and opener! They happily held our bags for hours after check out while we walked over to visit the wonderful Bonnet House. This is not a pamper me silly or spa hotel but a great independently owned place where it is obvious the owners take pride in what they do!

We had never been to Ft Lauderdale before and flew in and out of that airport while in FL for 10 days visiting there briefly and other places (Lake Wales and the Keys). Found the Trip Advisor reviews to be very favoarable so decided to stay at Cocobelle. It was a great location-easy walk to the beach and restaurants, but more quiet than a "strip" motel would have been. The manager was very helpful and he gave us helpful info on where to dine for dinner and breakfast. The pool setting was very quaint and private (many palm trees and mood lighting) and the water was wonderfully warm and did not have too much chlorine. The room was nice with mic/fridge/coffemaker. Would stay here again; would be a good place to stay for several days.

I can't say enough how much I loved Cocobelle! The owners are wonderful and the accommodations are great! Close to water taxi, the beach, and yet private. The pool area is simply gorgeous too, a great place to just relax in the hot afternoon. Also, it was such a treat to have beach equipment provided to take to the beach. Thank you so much!!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Cocobelle Resort on May 19th for two nights. We had unit 11, a one bedroom apartment. The bed was huge and very comfortable, with no noise to disturb our sleep. The extra bed in the lounge area proved very useful when I woke at 3:30am both nights, suffering jet-lag. We found the owners to be friendly and helpful, offering guides and discount vouchers, and available if assistance was required. The rooms we had may not be ultra modern but they were relaxing, spotlessly clean and excellent value for the $100/£65 a night we paid. The pool was always clean and looked nice lit up at night.
The only thing that let our room down was the old CRT TV and VCR. I couldn't get the TV remote to work, but have no doubt it would have been quickly fixed If we had asked. It didn't bother us as we were out most of the time, but I would suggest an upgrade to an LCD TV as most hotels we stay at now have these.
If we return to Fort Lauderdale we will be staying at the Cocobelle again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for quality at a good price.
