“Still THE best place to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Another perfect stay.”
Reviewed September 29, 2011

This has been our 4th stay at the Ritz in the last year and we just had an amazing time. We were in Fort Lauderdale to get married the people at the Ritz went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect.

Eating a Cuban sandwich around the pool with a nice sea breeze and the ocean view, will make you appreciate the finer things in life at the Ritz Carlton.

Everyone makes you feel special, from the valet attendant (who recognized me a couple of months later) to the reception staff, to waiters... you won't find a more professional and courteous service in all of Broward.

After staying at many fine hotels in the past, this one had the X factor. This was a WOW for us in every respect. Room was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable with many high tech features. Pool and staff throughout were extremely amicable and accommodating. Very beautiful entry and our corner room overlooked the intercoastal and ocean. It doesn't get much better than this. We also had a great deal through Amex including breakfast and $50 credits for anything else at hotel per day. Great experience and would highly recommend. Location was very convenient to major roads, restaurants and shopping. Beach is very clean and staff was there to assist in any way.

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale during September 5-10. I had a course to attend and it is our anniversary in September so I splurged. The package was decent for Ritz Carlton. The service is the best my wife and I have ever seen. My only major complaint was the shower water was scalding hot even on the coldest setting. The front desk was very generous on checkout for this problem.
The restaurant is excellent though my opinion is prices are a little steep so that would be an improvement area. The fitness facility is top notch and they even have spin bikes. The pool is small but you're at the beach. Location is great for bars and restaurants.

had four nights at this hotel at the beach in fort lauderdale. It is a lovely hotel - if you like marble! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are friendly enough if not a little pretentious! with exception of the beach porter who handed out the towels and water - his name was Pat and he was a star. The hotel has a great location with great restaurants a few minutes walk away. Their prices are a bit too high - and they dont even give free internet access asking $15 per day for the privilege. Overall it was ok . A bit too impersonal but thats because of its size.

Ritz C – Ft Lauderdale

Stayed here before and after our cruise in mid September. No, it’s not the cheapest hotel in Ft Lauderdale but it’s the best.

We had an Ocean View Suite (ask for high floor) both times and the rooms were very large and furnished to a very high standard. The beds are huge and comfortable and you struggle to get up for the wonderful breakfast served inside the restaurant or outside just across from the beach.

The service from the staff is attentive without being intrusive. The hotel position is right on the beach near good bars and restaurants in lively Ft Lauderdale Beach.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Sets the standard for other Hotels.

Room Tip: Ocean front high room - great views of the Ocean and the beach activities

The Ritz. Oh, my. What could be better, right? Well, I tell you, if marble is a measure of Ritziness, they got it. I have rarely had a more beautiful room, even in over-the-top Las Vegas. But it also has all the usual problems of a high-end hotel, ridiculous prices for watery oatmeal, a security staff that feels it needs to protect the hotel from you, and my particular bete noire, a room light that could NOT be turned off. (You had to turn it off from the console in the phone. Yikes.) I'm an aggressive consumer of travel; I was clear about the problems on the survey they sent me. No response. Thanks, Ritz. But what a room. Wow.

I usually stay at Ritz-Carlton Hotels, and have to say that you can not go wrong. We just loved the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, to a point that since the day we came back to LA we are looking at dates to go back. I invited five couples to celebrate my wife's birthday, and non of my guests had stayed at Ritz-Carlton before, and everyone was just amazed with the service that we got.
We had problem with our airline, and we decided to go back to our hotel, but at this time we had no luggage with us. Eric the front desk manager was more than great, he went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
I am planing right now to take my family back next year for my daughters birthday.
