My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week starting on Feb 6, 2013. We completely enjoyed our stay. Of course the weather was great which helps. Our room was on the 18th floor and was a junior king suite. It did overlook the hotel to the south which was no big deal as some have complained about. Going out onto the balcony you could look to the left and see the ocean and the sunrise, look to the right and you can see downtown Fort L and the sunset and a view of the canals and expensive homes. Our room was large and very accomodating and in good condition.

One of the great pluses for the hotel was the help. EVERYONE was friendly, helpful, courteous and went out of their way to make sure everything was OK. The entire staff was very professional in all aspects. The hotel was very clean. Great linens and always plentiful.
The construction going on is no big deal and they tried to keep noise to minimum. We ate at the Ilios restaurant every day for breakfast buffet and once for dinner. Food was not exceptional but it was good and tasty and plentiful. Service was excellent. La French was a great source for any time of day and close to the beach. We did lunch, mid afternoon snack and one dinner and the food met the need and was very good. Staff was friendly always.

No need to complain about this hotel. Book it and you will be satisfied. We are picky travelers and we chose this hotel this year instead of a cruise with Holland America and we were not disappointed.

We shall return.

Room Tip: Higher floors south side of resort.

We started a cruise vacation spending a couple of nights here to totally relax before leaving on the cruise. Upon arrival the registration process was excellent. We thought we were getting an ocean front room, but we had actually reserved an ocean view room. The ocean view rooms look out to the side, but there are great views of the beach and the city. We were upgraded from a king room to a king suite on a high floor. The people that work here have the best customer service and really care about you having a good stay with them. The guy that took our luggage to our room took the time to tell us where to go and things to do. He recommended Casa Blanca for dinner and we were not disappointed. The breakfast is fabulous. We must say we were sorry to go. Next time we will spend a week here. Thank you for such great service.

We stayed here last week and it was a wonderful place to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Just walk across the street to the beach! Beautiful pool area and delicious breakfasts in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. We had a problem with our room when we first arrived (something with the locks) and after two attempts to try to get into our room to no avail, the night manager upgraded us to a nicer room with a better view. We would definately return.

This is a superb location and well kept property. The staff goes overboard to insure you have a great stay. Breakfast is a lovely buffet featuring fresh fruit, a huges selectin of pastries, salmon, cheese, and use of the espresso machine. The bell staff and car attendants are the best in the business...

Room Tip: The location is great and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. No hotel has bette...

We were impressed by every aspect of our 3 day stay at this property, in mid-February 2013. The staff is ultra-professional and the property itself is impressive. It's on a nice stretch of the beach within easy walking distance to other hotels and restaurants. The hotel fronts route A-1-A and the palm-tree lined beach is literally across the street.

There is a cafe serving Starbucks coffee, grab-n-go food/snacks and pizza on the first floor, which also has outdoor seating (which is great for people watching along the beachfront sidewalk). Also on the first floor is a small gift shop. The outdoor pool, a restaurant, and the spa/work-out room are on the 6th floor.

Parking is by valet only (daily charge of $33). Our vehicle was always brought around quickly every time we wanted it.

Our 18th floor two-room junior suite had a balcony spanning the bedroom & living areas with two small tables and four chairs, and a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances (full sized refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave oven and dishwasher). An 'eat at' counter separated the kitchen and living room areas. The hotel will provide dishes and cookware if requested. The room had a walk-in closet (with a safe), huge bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate glassed shower and twin sinks.

A separate powder room off the living room and pull-out sofa would have made it possible to use this room for two couples or a family to share the room. Flat screen tv's were in both the living area and bed room.

Being a holiday weekend (President's Day & Valentines Day weekend) the rates were higher than usual, but we felt the rate justified for the quality of the room and hotel overall. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, when in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Room Tip: Room views will be of the city (to the west) or of the Atlantic ocean & beach, to the east.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and as a Diamond member was upgraded to a beautiful one bedroom suite on the 15th floor with excellent views. We were using Reward points and were treated with Outstanding service in the lobby, for breakfast, at the pool and for the Parking Valet service. Our room was clean and serviced at the exact time we had asked for - We will definetly return.

Room Tip: High corner room allows view of both ocean and canal.

I've stayed here a handful of times and it is very pleasant. Although this last time I had a smaller room that was next to fire stair and was very noisy. Other than that all my past rooms were super quite. Staff is very friendly and always smiling. My only beef w/Hilton is that they try to upsell everything. There aren't any children channels on the cable tv they make you by cartoons. For example, 30 minutes of PBS cartoons is $10.00. I wouldn't complain but that is too expensive!

Room Tip: Make sure you get the suite type with 2 separate rooms. If you have children these rooms are a must...
