“All-Suite Luxury!”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

Yet again, Hilton made my vacation memorable. This all-suite property is new, well-maintained and in an excellent location. Our one-bedroom suite had a full kitchen which was well used during our stay, as well as a separate guest bath beyond the master full bath. The oversized balcony connected the bedroom to the living room and had INCREDIBLE views of the ocean. The bed linens were extremely comfortable and the master shower was a dream. I will return to this location most definitely. My HHonors Gold benefits with Hilton earned me the room upgrade as well as breakfast each morning and no-cost internet. Again, reasons why I continue to book with the Hilton brand.

Areas for improvement would be a lower cost overnight parking charge (at least for Gold and Diamond members) as well as stocking the kitchens with basic cooking utensils so we don't have to call housekeeping for them. Their delivery took nearly 2 hours.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a one-bedroom suite so you can enjoy the luxury of the full-kitchen.

Did not honor guaranteed room. Inside cancellation so we would be on the hook to payif we didn't show. Booked 3 weeks in advance & called on day of arrival to remind them we were checking in late. Assured room was ready. Showed up at 11:00 pm & were told "owner showed up so sorry we gave away your room". Because it was busy season they could not find another room for us. Midnight & we are still waiting for room! Refuse to get us comparable room at another hotel.

Very nice hotel across the street form the lovely Ft.lauderdale beach. Most rooms have ocean views from the sides of the hotel. Large belgonies. Think most rooms are small suites with nice mini Kitchens which is great for stocking with supplies so you don't have to eat out all the time. Very well appointed comfortable rooms. Large bathrooms with whirl pool bath and seperate glass shower stall. Lots High end bath products. Two flat screen TV's. Really a true 4 star. Loved the Marche/Starbucks. Crab something and enjoy it on the hotel front terrace in the the FL.sun. On check in the front desk fellow-gave us 4 $17 dollar cupons which we used. Very friendly staff. Guy at the Starbucks was calling me by name after 2nd day. Really made you feel that they appreciated your business. I usually go to South Beach but I like Ft. Lauderdale better now. Not as busy and not as effected as the so called glamour of Miami. Great base to visit other area's on the Gold coast. Drive up to Worth Ave for some window shopping in Palm beach on the A1A (we saw Celine Dion dropping some well earned cash.) yes parking a little $$$ at this hotel but loved the ease of the velet. and when you average it in-good value for this hotel. Ft.Lauderdale sure has come a long way. Try the Steak 954 at the W. next dore. Not cheap-but at least it's right next dore. The signature coocktail made with Lemongillo-Yum and you only need one.

Room Tip: South side-will see the sun all day as well as the intercoastal. Funny did call and ask-but they had...

We stayed at the Hilton for our friends' wedding. It was the most wonderful experience we and they could have asked for. The staff, including the Assistant Director of Front Office, went out of their way to make everyone's stay perfect. The bride and groom's room was upgraded to an oceanview suite with a wrap around balcony. Everyone cared for us like royalty.

I haved stayed at many 5 star properties across the country and the service at the Hilton far exceed the service I have previously experienced. I will tell everyone who visits Ft Lauderdale to stay at the Ft Lauderdale Hilton Beach Resort. Our visit was amazing!

Decent enough hotel, smaller than I expected. There's nothing really special about the hotel and it was way too overpriced for what it was.

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is a fantastic spot for anyone to stay. The service is attentive and everyone is pleasant and smiling.

The pool area is relaxing with cabanas available for rent and plenty of beach chairs. The grill restaurant by the pool is also wonderful serving up light afternoon fare. The chips and guacamole were fabulous!

Perfect location right across the road from the beach!

The rooms are immaculate and we had a fabulous suite with the most amazing jacuzzi tub and marble shower. The ocean view was lovely for relaxing on sunny afternoons and having a glass of wine. The bed was comfortable, too. The water was this strange sort of green-ish colour, but it didn't really bother me as it seemed clean. Apparently this has nothing to do with the hotel, but the Fort Lauderdale water, itself.

Although breakfast wasn't supposed to be included, we received vouchers for 4, which was strange, because they arrived under the door on the last morning of our stay and there were only 2 of us in the room. Regardless, breakfast was a wonderful buffet and the service went above and beyond.

The only down side is the expensive parking ($31 per day and it's valet only).

This hotel has hospitality down to a science.

Room Tip: The jacuzzi is well worth it if you like to relax and unwind in the tub.

Only stayed here for 1 night, but the resort was very nice and the hotel room was very big with an amazing view. Plan to go back at some point and stay more than 1 night.
