“Nice simple place with very good food.”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

In a rather out of the way place near downtown Ft. Luderdale. One would not likely go there unless the visit was planned. Strongly recommend reservations whick they do not accept, as inside dinning is very limited and outside dinning, so so. The service was efficient and friendly. The menu quite eclectic. Duck and rack of lamb and other good things were offered. The bread was very good as were all the dishes we shared. Although the setting is simple it is not an inexpensive restaurant and can be a tad noisy. Would certainly return. We noted many were eating the fattest hamburger have seen. The meat was an inch thick. A quality place in a simple setting. They had a no. of wines below 30.00.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

You have to look to find this restaurant. Located just south of downtown Ft Lauderdale on a side street. Unfortunately they don't take reservations.
in minimalist setting with 42 seats inside and probably another 20 outside. A small but unusual wine list which is a little pricey.

Started with an excellent tuna tartare and arugula salad with goat cheese.

For entrees, 3 people had one of the specials, a 1/2 rack of lamb which at $29 is very reasonable served with a side salad, potatoes, and an array of vegetables. I had the grilled duck breast with a potato cake, roasted beet, chorizo, and haricot vert salad.

Also they serve excellent multi-grain bread and baguettes.

Their menu changes frequently so look on Facebook for their current menu.

“Just ok”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

The service was excellent. The food was just good. I wanted to love it. It is quaint, barren and off the beaten path. The chef/owner was a great guy. Just a nice friendly person. But.. The food was just ok. Will try again

“Nice place to have lunch!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

My husband and I went to Hardy Park Bistro yesterday to have lunch.
The staff was very welcoming and smiling. The interior is white and bare but it is very cozy.
The menu was not very long (which is usually a good sign, a sign of freshness of products!). You can choose sandwiches, salads, soups, some entrees, specials and desserts. My husband chose the BLT on baguette with French fries: which was very good and full of flavors. I chose the chicken salad sandwich with a green salad: which was also very good.
The prices are reasonable (we paid 36US, tip included, for 2 people, sodas included).
We were there very early (12:15pm), but because this place is very small inside (about 38 seats), it is packed very quickly. It is better if you could book a table before going there.

“Nice local restaurant.”
Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

Cozy local bistro. We're greeted/seated promptly. Atmosphere is laid back semi open kitchen. We sat inside was too hot outside. Servers are helpful and warm. Bread basket with butter was good. Chefs complimentary amuse bouche of babagnoug with cracker was nice. Chicken satay was ok needed a little more soul. Burger was juicy nice balance of salty and sweet with caramelized onions and tomato chutney with with fries. Hanger steak was flavorful. Maine lobster salad was refreshing. Chocolate mouse was big so three can share it. Nice flavors too. Overall a nice place to have a meal. Will return.
