Owner description: This museum is a reproduction of a Packard showroom from the 1920s. On display are 22 Packard motor cars from the 1900s to the 1940s, all in full working order. Among them, are Roadsters with compartments for golf clubs, a doctor's coupe with a compartment for his medical bag, and a 1929 645 Dual Cowl Phaeton that can self-lubricate its chassis as it drives along the road.

We've lived in Broward County for over 35 years and never visited this museum until recently. We'll be sure to go back soon. The museum is made up of the private collection of Arthur Stone, who was a local florist. The collection of Packards and other automobile parts and memoribilia is incredible. We had out-of-town visitors and were looking for an indoor activity and decided to gie the museum a try. We were very impressed and could not believe that we had missed seeing this great place until now. Very interesting even if you are not a car enthusiast, as the collection is so interesting.

The Ft. Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is a non-profit foundation for education. Arthur O. Stone not only loved quality cars, but he had a passion for showing the world what American craftsmanship meant. Packards were some of the finest cars ever made.

I've lived and owned property in Ft. Lauderdale for 14-years and just recently made my first visit to this wonderful facility. I have friends that have lived here all their lives and still not enjoyed gawking at the awesome cars and memorabilia that you'll find when you go. It's truly a hidden in plain sight gem!

We had the great good fortune to meet and talks with Shirley Stone during our last trip to this reproduction of an original Packard showroom. What a treat she was. Definitely an added bonus.

Bring the kids, your friends or anybody who appreciates cool, old cars and take time to journey back to an era when quality and innovation were everything to the automaker. You won't believe how many options were already available on these cars that we think of as major new breakthroughs on today's vehicles.

Nostalgia down on SW1 Ave. They have at least 25 classic antique cars. Most Classics are Packards, but a couple of other luxury cars. My two favorites, 1909 Packard model 18 speed str., and 1931 Packard model 845 convertible sedan. The staff was very knowledgeable. The museum was spotless, designed to look like a 1920's car showroom. Cost $16.
