Owner description: This museum is a reproduction of a Packard showroom from the 1920s. On display are 22 Packard motor cars from the 1900s to the 1940s, all in full working order. Among them, are Roadsters with compartments for golf clubs, a doctor's coupe with a compartment for his medical bag, and a 1929 645 Dual Cowl Phaeton that can self-lubricate its chassis as it drives along the road.

If you've got a few hours to kill next time you're in Ft. Lauderdale, don't miss this place. It's a real treat. The vehicles are spectacular, but the memorabilia alongside the cars is the real beauty of this place. It's far better than your average collection and considerably more interesting because of the stuff that goes with it. Highly recommended.

The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is a rare gem of a museum hidden in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

This is one of the largest collections of Packards and memorabilia in the United States.

These cars are magnificent. The memorabilia is incredible. It is a real step back in time.

You don't need to be a car buff to find the beauty here. I definitely recommend a trip to the Antique Car Museum when you are in Fort Lauderdale.

My Dad would have loved this museum and my husband did! Amazing collection of mint Packards, automobile memorabilia, Packards owned by former US Presidents, all kinds of stuff. If you love cars this is a MUST see.

I only have a passing interest in antique cars, but was very impressed by this museum. A beautiful building, a private collection of cars that are all works of art, and an amazing collection of all things antique car (hood ornaments, lighters, carburetors, etc). I highly recommend this for anyone remotely interested in cars. You can roam by yourself and read the placards or utilize a guide.

If you like Packards, you'll enjoy this museum. The tour is informative, but I had more fun wondering by myself.
