We were at the For Lauderdale Beach in January and it was awesome (5 stars), this time (in March), it was pretty crowded due to spring break. We were there for the day before our cruise on the MSC Poesia (Monsters of Rock Cruise). The beach itself is great, there are some good shops there and restaurants. For this trip we just walked to Subway (at the Marriott area) and some outside vendors.

The beach was very clean. There are playgrounds and even BBQ grills that you can set up at the beach to cook. We were staying at a hotel directly across the street so were able to walk to the beach, but it did appear public parking could be a problem on a very busy day.

I found the beach to be clean and very relaxing. It was so peaceful to walk on the soft sand. The beach area we were in attracts a very diverse crowd with families, couples etc and you will feel right at home no matter who you are!
It is a very safe area with alot to do within walking distance.
Now that I am back in New England and it seems it hasn't stopped snowing here since my last visit to Fort Lauderdale I am especially missing this wonderful beach and cant wait to go back soon

We usually stay at a hotel along Seabreeze Boulevard so that we can enjoy the beachfront!
There is nothing better in life, than waking up and seeing the sun come up on the sea’s horizon! Better yet, to enjoy a nice cup of coffee outside looking at the vista at a local café.

We love the beachfront area in Fort Lauderdale. The beach is clean and we feel safe when taking a walk. The sidewalks are wide and it’s nice that strollers, joggers, runners, skaters can all enjoy sharing the same pavement!

Those who live near the beach must love it as it certainly encourages you to get out and enjoy the beachfront!

We like that there is never much heavy traffic on the stretch. And we certainly enjoy having our pick of eateries and bars along the frontage. We love to grab a table on the outside of a restaurant so we can continuously enjoy the view and people-watch! Amazingly entertaining and relaxing!

When we last visited, the wind was really strong so we couldn’t walk very far as the sand kept blasting our legs! It seems next time we visit we need to wear long pants to take our morning walk!

very nice sea side but I have a baby chihuahua. I cannot even walk on the sea side pavement with my puppy. (not allowed) everything is like that in fort lauterdale. this is why I prefer Miami beach where everything is"not forbidden"
