Quaint hotel that is close to everything but what's best about this place, other than the price, is the staff. Barry and Tom were absolutely wonderful. They both went above and beyond the call of duty for us, to make our stay there special. We had problems with our internet connection and our television set but they resolved these issues promptly. Good value and great service!

Room Tip: The rooms on the ground floor facing west have a hammock and lawn chairs outside the door and are ni...

Apart from the price begging us to book this hotel their offer of free shuttle from the airport clinched the deal, We were welcomed at the airport and assisted with our luggage and had a nice chat as we travelled to the Bridge Over Cordover. The host came out to the shuttle bus and greeted us with a welcome and advises where we could find tea and coffee which was available all day.
The room was basic but comfortable and the water hot. The breakfast which was included was fine and you ate al fresco to chat with others who were also cruising. Although normally quiet we were unlucky that there was a motor bike rally nearby and we had the noise of their travels during that weekend but only once a year.
Well situated for quiet walks if you wanted and also for purchase of booze or amenities for the cruise in nearby pharmacies. A good selection of eating places within a short walk as well as the well known Bimini Boatyard bar which we used for a pre cruise get together.
e were asked our preference for the time to be taken to the ship and although it was normally charged $5 (I believe) we had it free due to the motorbike noise we had had. Not their fault but that is the way they work. Unless you want 5 star luxury this is the place to go The pool is clean and a nice place to relax and sun worship

Room Tip: In our case we wish we had been at the back of the hotel but we overlooked the road.

This hotel was ideal for our overnight stop for Port Everglade. The hotel is in a excellent location and just 5 mins away from the Port and the hotel provide transfers to the port. Rooms are ok and clean.

The Bridge at Cordova is the perfect hotel for cruisers heading to Port Everglades. I took Amtrak into Fort Lauderdale and I was picked up within 10 minutes of calling Jorge and telling him we were there. All the employees are very friendly! The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores of needed. Would undoubtedly stay here again next time I go on a cruise! Thanks to you Jorge and all your wonderful staff!

The owner and staff at this small family run hotel went overboard to make sure each and every guest was treated special. Jorge, the owner, personally picks up guests at the airport and drops them off at the pier for cruising the next day. The efficiency style room was perfect for our stay before and after our cruise. The friendly staff was very courteous and helpful with any requests made by the guests. They even assisted one couple with changing their car battery when it no longer held a charge. The owner personally drove the couple to a parts store, then helped to swap out the battery in their car.

The hotel is very convenient to many local restaurants, a grocery store, a drug store, the cruise port, and within walking distance to the water taxi stop #4 for a must see river tour of Fort Lauderdale.

A basic continental self serve breakfast is included, with fruit and coffee served early in the morning. Lounging by the outdoor pool is a great meeting place for guests to socialize and exchange travel tips and experiences. The greenery and privacy fence were a nice feature that made you feel right at home when spending time relaxing in the courtyard talking to other guests.

The efficiency rooms we stayed in were very large and comfortable, although a bit dated. Don't expect a Ritz Carlton or Hilton hotel experience, but if you want a comfortable place to stay before heading elsewhere, this is a winner. We will definitely stay here again next time we cruise from Fort Lauderdale.

Room Tip: We stayed in the efficiency rooms (D, E) on the ground level with a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen...
