I have used this property twice for my pre and post cruise stays. It is new, beautiful and a gem of a find. The shuttle service from the airport and cruise terminal is free. Upon my return of the Thankgiving cruise all the room were still occupied or not cleaned. I arrived in the late morning way before the typical check-in. My luggage was stored for me and I was able to sit by the pool and enjoy the sun while a room was prepared. The property called me within an hour. Within walking distance is a Winn Dixie market for your pre cruise needs. There is a subway and Dunkin Doughnuts as well. All in all great room, sparkles, comfortable beds. -DW

We stayed here for 2 nights after a cruise. It was a great new hotel and clean. Loved the decor and colors.
There is a free shuttle from either the port or airport and a free buffet breakfast which was great.
There is only one restaurant within walking distance called the Heidelberg, a fantasic german restaurant that has live music every night and a 6.99 delicious lunch. To cross the 6 to 8 lane highway in front was scary as the cross lights would not always work.
But it's too far out of the way for any sightseeing. We paid 40.00 return to go to downtown Ft. Lauderdale by taxi to the Riverfront area. (Would definitely recommend the Riverfront Cruise and water taxi to see the Venice of America and waterways.)
To go to the Sawgrass Mills for outlet shopping was 55.00 by taxi. Ouch! We never did go.
I would recommend this for an overnight stay before or after a cruise but get somewhere more central for seeing anything.

Wish I'd stayed here the rest of my Fort Lauderdale trip. Very nice hotel.

Key was the shuttle, we were able to drop off our rental car a day/ or night early to the airport. This let us save a day on the car.

Nice cinny rolls on the free breakfast, coffee was decent.

Unexpected refrigerator and microwave in the room, marble countertops and raised beds. Very new very clean.

German Restaurant in walking distance was great (if you do turn your car in).

Staff was very accomodating.

Stayed there for a one night, found this to a good pre-cruise hotel . We plan to use this hotel in the future for any cruise out of Ft Lauderdale

The ++++
Very clean-- never saw any bugs (when we entered our room we did notice a slight antiseptic odor-- guess they are serious about keeping the place clean)
Free shuttle to and from airport and cruise port-had very short wait at the airport
Very helpful and friendly front desk staff
Nice pool
Felt very safe at this hotel

The only minus is the lack of resturants, we had lunch at the nearby German resturant(excellent food) and ordered Pizza as takout for dinner. There is a McDonalds across the street but I felt is was too risky to try to cross a busy 4 lane road
Also did not notice any happy hour at the hotel (maybe they discontinued it or only do it on Sat night)
