We had lunch here, just across from the beach. The place was busy, but not packed, just lively. The pizza was very good, big hot slices, good crust. Also had the Italian sausage sandwich, pretty standard. The fries were just ok. They were mixing up a batch of dough for crust while we ate - it a was a little loud sitting across from the Hobart, but the kids enjoyed watching the process. Anyway, this isn't the sort of place to come if you want a quiet meal, it's bustling, the TVs are on, people coming and going. It worked for us. Beware, they only take cash, but there is an ATM here, too.

During our stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale we visited many restaurants but found Primanti Brothers to be overall the best experience and best value. A very typical American Diner with great food and great service. Thank you for a very memorable visit.

I don't care what anybody says, but is there anything cooler than being right on Fort Lauderdale Beach and being able to have a "Pittsburger" at Primanti Brothers? For a guy that will not go to Pittsburgh and not make the requisite visit to he original location in the Strip District, it's a bit of heaven on earth. And what's even better is that this place has not only pizza, but some of the best pizza we've had anywhere. A "Pittsburger" and extra cheese pizza - I gotta stop writing...... Doesn't take much to get me excited does it? It's a must do for those of us who know Primanti and want to experience it in an ultimate setting.

This is some of the best (thin crust) pizza I have ever had. It is open 24 hours so no matter what time you get the craving for a slice, (or you need to soak up some extra alcohol that you have consumed), you are set. Right on the beach - fantastic view! Be warned: the original Priamnti Brothers restaurant is based in Pittsburgh and that tradition is deeply engrained in the Fort Lauderdale location. If you are a Steelers/Pirates/Penguins fan, welcome home. We were visiting Fort Lauderdale/Miami for a Patriots/Dolphins game and were often times wearing our Pats gear proudly. If you don't want to be heckled by local Steelers fans, don't wear your team's logo. If you can stand the heckling, wear your gear proudly. People made jokes constantly but they were outrageously nice about it. All in all, must try while in Fort Lauderdale!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after lounging at the pool. We each got a slice of pepperoni and had a corona. It was tasty, but later my stomach was a bit queasy.
