Went to Casablanca Cafe one of the oldest resturants in Ft Lauderdale on the oceanfront during the Ft Lauderdale boat show. On my first visit I was seated promptly and ate up stairs overlooking the ocean. Had Chilian seabass which was outstanding. The entire meal was to die for. I enjoyed it so much and since my hotel "the Westin" was only a block north I decieded to have dinner the next night also. This time I sat at the outside bar overlooking the ocean. This night I had the duck. This too was outstanding!
The bartender Kelly Byrne made the evening most memorable. She was the most cordial and friendly professional I have ever met. She knows the menue and remembers the customers names. She recomended exactly what I would like and I loved each dish.As it ended up I ate there the next night too. The hurricane did not dampen our spirits which was highlighted by this wonderful resturant.I highly reccomend anyone staying in a hotel on the ocanfront to have dinner at Casablanca and eat at the bar and you will love the food and service.
