“Royal Pig Pub”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

This trendy pub is right in downtown Fort Lauderdale and is usually packed with people. Service may be a bit slow since the place is crowded but the staff is friendly. The Pub's décor is very nice and the atmosphere is inviting. Drinks are pricey, I had the beer sampler but did not really enjoy the selection. The food portions are very big and the flavors are good as well. I would recommend other closeby locations in terms of food but the atmosphere is what brings people in

“A cool and hip place with good food and wine list to boot!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

I went with a friend and had not been previously. Supposedly the founder of Hooter's or something to do with being owned by Hooter's but this was hip, cool, stylish and the menu was wide but not too overwhelming. The prices were reasonable, not cheap but not ridiculous, and the food was very good. Good service, and a happening place. There is a good vibe, but it is loud so this is more of a stylish sports bar with mixed company than a place for an intimate date.

“Fun atmosphere, but LOUD!”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

This is a fun spot for happy hour, or a light bite. The room is creative and attractive, just enough of a pub feel, but not something cliché. The noise is deafening, literally, and I measured over 100 DB at times and never under 90. (100 decibels, equivalent to a chain saw, pneumatic drill, printing plant, jackhammer, speeding express train, some car horns at five meters, farm tractor, riveting machine, some noisy subways [about 20 feet].) The loudness detracted from the experience.

Once we ordered, which was difficult, given the din, our food was good. We had chicken wings, nachos, shrimp as appetisers, and all were tasty, fresh, and inventive. The sandwich main courses were also good.

Go for happy hour or to meet friends who's conversation you find boring.

“Outside bar is for young people”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

My wife and I stopped here for a drink at their outside bar. At nights most of the people in their bar is a young early to mid twenties crowd. The Royal Pig is usually quite busy.

“It's good.”
Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Te food here is definitely good, very tasty, no complaints about that, the white chocolate bread pudding OMG it is enormous, literally and sooo delicious!!
I thought it was a little too loud, and the spaces to walk are too tight, there is literally people walking right by your table while you are eating (so close to you it's ridiculous)... They need to make more space, that's wasn't comfortable at all, waiters walking with drinks, trays and food between the crowd wasnt even pleasant to watch, it seemed like they were going to spill it all over the people any minute! I had a good time overall, it is def a place to visit... Services could be better, I just think it was too busy that waiters don't really have time to pay much attention to each table, they just want then in and out ASAP.
