Description: Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.

On the waterway. Beautiful setting. Was on the second floor to eat. There are two different menus. One for each floor. 2nd floor is more upscale menu. I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Excellent. Service was great. They loved our 10month old. You can drink at the bar outside if your in for just drinks and they have entertainment.

This place is over rated... been going there for 30 years.. not again... the food isn't as good as it used to be. You are paying
for the location, not the food!!

Had the opportunity the other day to eat at 15th St. Fisheries. The location is great, right on the water, the Tarpon fish swimming around outside is very cool the food was very tasty. However the night we went they sat us on the back deck out of view of the staff. We had to wait 15min before my wife went to find someone to come over to our table. We got our order in and our cup of chowder came out…Amazing! Then the lights went out, the restaurant lost power and we sat in the dark for a good 10min before our server came over to tell us they were working on getting a generator up and running. We received our food from our waiter who was holding a flashlight in his mouth. Our meals where very good, and it was an interesting overall experience. While I am not looking for a handout I thought it was a little strange that no manager came over, no one said hey sorry for the inconvenience where going to knock the soups off your bill, or here’s a slice of pie on us. Just put a bad taste in out mouth after a great tasting meal.

We had great seafood & chowder here. It's actually Stop 4 on the Water Taxi. Casual downstairs with the formal dining upstairs. Our water taxi driver gave us a coupon good for free key lime pie which was yummy.

My wife and I were visiting Fort Lauderdale recently. A friend of our is a vegan and we were staying on his yacht. We went in search of a restaurant and decided to try this one out. We opted for the more "formal" upper dining room.

We perused the menu but could not find any suitable vegetarian dishes. However, the waitress suggested a pasta primavera. We started with salads and moved on to the pasta. The salads were good but the pasta was excellent. Lots of fresh vegetables of all sorts plus a delicious pasta with a light garlic and olive oil sauce. One of the best dishes I have ever tasted. All of us enjoyed it tremendously. If I owned the restaurant I would place this on the menu!

Our waitress provided excellent service. I recommend this one.
