Nice place to visit with a lunch & sit by the intercoastal. Not too busy. The staff are friendly & welcoming.

“Fun Place”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Rent the Segway, it's a lot of fun. We rented them on several occasions. We toured the park with a ranger, who pointed out a lot of interesting facts. We have also taken the Segways out on the streets, touring neighborhoods.

“Great Place to Walk”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

This state park gave us a chance to see what the coastal land used to look like, with dense hammock brush, nice trails. Kayaks, canoes bikes, skating, segways---its all here. Even water taxi stops here and there is great beach access.

“Beautiful Fun Filled Spot!”
Reviewed November 18, 2013 via mobile

Upon parking, we immediately saw turtles snacking, and took a very scenic nature walk. After we went to the beach, which was pristine and beautiful. Economical. Fun rain or shine, any age, any activity level: it takes much more than one day to see all the splendor of this state park.

“Nice Spot”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We only use Birch State Park to rollerblade, but it does have more to offer. Blading is great there as it is really safe with only a "1" way car lane all the way around. Keep in mind it is a VERY small park (which I like) so don't expect to go there and see or do a lot of things. You need to go there with your own agenda, maybe BBQ, walk, bike, rollerblade, etc. So happy that this spot was privately donated to keep for its residents to enjoy.
