This jewel of a nature park extends from the intracoastal waterway to the Atlantic ocean with several miles of nature trails. Access to the beach is provided by a tunnel under highway A1A, Not to be missed It is also very close to Bonnet House, another gem.

This park is really nice. We saw turtles and a giant banyan tree! Great path to walk in and observe nature. Don't forget your camera. We did a really nice Segway tour with Nick. 2$ entrance fee. We had great time at Hugh Taylor State Park.

It is a beautiful park- it cost $2.00 for walk ins - I went to see birds - I saw iguanas - and cardinals and parrots mating in the trees - it's a nice park - many people use it to walk, and rollerblade-some people come to access the beach- I also saw a mannatee in the intercoastal-waterway-many people come and spend the day - they have b.b.que pits- it' like a forest n the middle of a busy city- a great get-away

Didn't know $2 per bicyclist was required but the trek thru the park was beautiful. Shaded with nice paved paths. Can stop for a breather by ICW with a picnic.

This park should be awarded prettiest state park in florida. The trees, the trails, the upkeep and the view of the water way are all stunning. the best time to visit is around noon during the week when everyone is at work and not roller blading in the park
