Description: Bouillabaisse, the 45-seat, upscale, yet unpretentious new French restaurant in Ft.Lauderdale. The restaurant is owned and operated by entrepreneur/chef Harald Neuweg who also owns the the 250 seat Fritz & Franz Bierhaus in Coral Gables, the new 150 seat Fritz and Franz Bierhaus next door, and the 250 seat Satchmo Lounge upstairs from the Bierhaus and Bouillabaisse. Neuweg who insists on creating an elegant French dining experience without the fussiness and reminiscent of a classic Parisian bistro. The restaurant boasts sublime contemporary French cuisine, featuring local ingredients and utilizing the classical French techniques. White tables draped with crisp, white linens sport fresh flowers bouquets for an aromatic touché. This unpretentious, yet elegant atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for Chef Neuweg’s stellar talents which shine throughout his magnifique menu.

I recently dined at BOUILLABAISSE with my wife and a guest and we thoroughly enjoyed both the atmosphere as well as the finely prepared dishes that were presented to us. The mussels in the tasty garlic tomato broth were absolutely wonderful and fresh, as was the lobster bisque. My main course of trout saute in lemon butter was prepared very nicely and much to my liking, and the bouillabaisse and the duck in orange sauce were absolutely raved about by my wife and guest. The staff was both delightful and professional in their interactions with us, as well as their recommendation for the grand marnier souffle for desert which was a perfect ending to a fine meal by all. I would highly recommend BOUILLABAISSE to anyone looking for a fine french dining experience in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We called to inquire about their 5 course dinner to be told it was no longer available. WE were offered a bottle of wine if we came by. When we ordered wine, no one remembered talking to us (only hours earler). We did not make a big deal and enjoyed our wine. In an empty restaurant, they sit the next guest next to us (which is way too close) We ordered spinach salads that were tasteless with dressing puddled at bottom. For main course we ordered bouillabaisse and beef wellingtom. The broth in the bouillabaisse was clear and tasteless and the beef was cold and sans flavor. We looked at each other wondering how did this place get good reviews w poor food & indifferent service. 1 star is generous!

ate here last night. great service, even better food. my dining companion and i got the pate and the crab salad. pate was great, served with toast, cornichons, pickled onion, radicchio and a very nice cherry reduction. crab salad was lump crab meat in a martini glass with some louis sauce,
we split a beef wellington which was fabuloso. fillet wrapped in pate then puff pastry served with a red wine sauce. tons of food and with a nice bottle of french chardonnay the tab was 100.00. would go there again.

Decided to check out Bouillabiasse French Bistro on Saturday night. The atmosphere is elegant, the service impeccable and the food is delicious! Nice selection of wines as well.
Started off with the Pate, and ordered the NY Strip Steak with peppercorn sauce. Ended the meal with the most amazing souffle made with Gran Marnier, topped off with warm chocolate sauce. Everything was fresh, made to order, and just perfect. I highly recommend this treasure!

Despite open just for 9 month this restaurant looks not new, even door was hard to open.
This is small and cozy French restaurant (~15 tables) with French music on one hour loop and probably are good for small groups (2-6) and they have real French food.
It was pricey (>$200 for 2 including $50 bottle of wine) and overall good experience for us, except that we get beef instead of Filet Mignon, even we insisted that we need really medium filet mignon. Because of the event, we decided to try beef without "fighting", but in the end we not like it at all. The Lamb was not too bad. Escargot was not inspiring.
Wine is pricey, mostly $50-$500 per bottle and no per glass prices in the menu.
If you are not the wine expert, without help you'll not able to chose your wine.
Lady get the rose (literally) at the end and it was nice.
Except the "wrong dish" accident over service was good, but not great.
The restaurant of this price range should check what they customer ordered.
We find this restaurant as the number one on trip advisor, I'm not sure how the got there and what with other restaurants. Next time I'l be digging for real reviews.
We are not going back any time soon.
