“European opinion about it”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

We were out for a romantic diner but restaurants chosen on internet were packed, then walking along Las Solas we stopped here (buy the way they offered half price on second entrée).
Service was smart, and the food that we have chosen (salmon & scallops) was excellent and much over local average quality. The restaurant focusses quality before quantity, and that matched what we expected.
The only thing that we can claim is the general noise level, really too high to our opinion. Don’t go there for romantic, you can’t speak, but have to shout. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find a quiet place here in Florida. At least the food was excellent here.

“KOBE MEATBALLS”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

The capital letters are on purpose. These are amazing. We came for happy hour and they were an appetizer we tried. You can also get them as a main meal. You have got to try this! The restaurant is great - the best service ever! The sex on the beach drink was very good too.

“Good food, atmosphere a bit wanting”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

We stopped here for a weekday lunch after browsing the curbside menu. A "greeter" tried to entice us in by suggesting we might like the lobster and macaroni and cheese special for $14.95. We decided to take a seat and unfortunately realized we were closely seated to a group of men puffing away on some fragrant cigars. I guess it was technically outside, although among the dining tables and certainly an appetite deflater. I was surprised this was allowed in an over twelve table front porch area. We asked our server, who was very nice, about the "special" since we didn't see it mentioned anywhere on the menu. He looked surprised and asked us who told us that. He then when to check to see if this offering was real. He came back and said it could be made available to us at that price but that it was a "dinner offering" that was yet to occur. (maybe inform your front person to discourage further misunderstandings) He was nice to offer it to us, but we decided to go with the mahi mahi tacos, a beef french dip sandwich and the cuban pulled pork sandwich. All came with their house rosemary herbed fries which were very good. Our sandwiches were very good, good ingredients, well prepared. The beef sandwich was really tasty without being too salty. It came without the "dip" and then he offered it when bringing the plate. This seemed odd since it was part of the description on the menu. He had to go back for it as a second trip. Seemed silly to me.The fish tacos were small, but it came with three, and the lime dressing was a nice touch. They were pretty tasty, especially with the fruit salsa on top. The pork sandwich was a generous portion of meat and seem to satisfy my husband. Corona beer was a steep $7. The ice tea was homemade tasting and came with refills. My trip to the bathroom came with a roadblock. They had set up a tall ladder to access some storage in the ceiling area in front of the rest room doors. I had to shimmy around this to get to the bathroom and couldn't open the door all the way to gain easy access. It was like this for at least 15 minutes. Seems like a restaurant manager is needed for this place, someone to inform the front help of the menu, keep obstacles out of the guest corridors, limit patio smoking and instruct waiters to bring the complete meal to the diners. The food was the best part of the experience, so on another night, someone might have a completely different experience. There's a lot of dining competition in this neighborhood, so I'd guess that every factor of a dining experience should be top notch to get those cherished repeat customers.

“Creative menu great service”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

We stopped by for lunch had such a great lunch That we went back for dinner -- we were not disappointed. Try the artichoke fritters for an appetizer they are great. We do not find a menu very often where there are so many difficult choices to choose between the ones we did choose were very good. The outdoor seating and excellent service made for two memorial meals.
