“Great location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

The premiere is as advertised, but not quite a 5. Good customer service, comfortable beds, and a perfect location. A full kitchen and two bedrooms that slept 8. The pool was heated and warm. Beach chairs and towels were provided.

The negatives, road construction right outside the hotel began at 730 am everyday. It was very loud, but since we had kids that were up around then anyway it was okay. The two bathrooms in our unit (307) were in desperate need of updating. One of the bathrooms had a shower not much bigger than a cruise ship. The tiles were pink and white and the grout was stained with mold. There were no exhaust fans which kept them damp. The paint was peeling. The underground parking is very tight.

Overall, we will return but hope the construction is completed (not the hotels fault, but does impact your stay) and that the bathrooms are renovated.

The premier hotel rocks! We just got back from a few days in FLL. There was a room available a couple months back, so I grabbed it. Our friends tried the next day, and the next, and so on, and no luck - sold out for spring break time! Not a 5 star resort, as it is older, small rooms, no elevator, but WOW - location location location! You see the beach from the property and walk one half block to sand and ocean. So for what it is, I give it 5 stars! We love the old Florida feel. Our basic room was super clean, had a very comfy bed, very dark at night, quiet, had mini fridge, MW and coffee maker - unexpected! The maids left just enough clean towels and cleaned every day. The front desk guys were more helpful and accommodating than any full service hotel I have been to - they provide beach towels and chairs and umbrellas at no extra charge for you to bring to the beach every day. Who ever heard of that! If you need something, ask them, they really bend over backwards to accommodate you. Free underground (read - in the shade!) parking! A nice courtyard pool. There are only about 20 rooms, but within a couple of blocks, you have some nice places to eat breakfast lunch and dinner, a Starbucks, some swanky bars, NOT rowdy stuff, no sketchy characters, so great for family or a couple just looking for relaxation. We shall return soon! Thanks for a great stay!

Room Tip: You can't lose. If it shows a room is available, book it immediately!

What a comfortable place with a family atmosphere. I felt like I lived there after being there 30 seconds. The beach is a 30 second walk. Starbucks is a 4 minute walk. I ate at the outdoor bistro near the property and had a luxurious meal. Most importantly, my room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice TV's, pool was warm, and I was made part of the Premiere Hotel family upon arrival. Not a 5 star hotel, but a 5 star experience. The staff is flexible and accommodating....just ask them for something and you will receive. The cold beverage upon arrival was a nice touch. Definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Suites are spacious and well laid out for a family.

This is a family run hotel- upon check in welcomed with a cold drink. Fred at front desk very friendly and extremely helpful. Since we only stayed a few nights we booked a small standard room with queen bed and very small sofa. Room was clean, had small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and safe. Bring your own shampoo and hairdryer. As a bonus all phone calls to US and Canada are free. There is a nice pool with lounges and tables. The hotel is across the street from the beach and provides free beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Entry to the parking garage is a bit difficult and Fred was always willing to help. We would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend this property.

first of all the owners argentinian mario is italian wife anderson fred could not be more accommodating in a make up for whatever shortcomings the vintage hotel has. Why stay here? Location. Half block from the beach but blocks away from the craziness of spring break. Free beach chairs and umbrellas.Free in room safe.Free beach towels. Comfortable beds. Free wifi.Large rooms. Warm pool. New quiet mitsubishi air conditioner. A bathtub. All of the basics are covered. That said, there are some things to be aware of. The free underground parking is tight and if you have a large SUV,forget about getting it down the cement chute to the parking area. You cannot manipulate the turn. Also they are demolishing the entire city block directly across from the hotel and they work from 730 a_m to 4:30 pm monday through saturday so there is noise, dust and the whole hotel shook during demolition. The demolition work should be about over but the construction work will continue on for the next year. That said, the sound proofing in the rooms is not bad considering the age of the hotel. Also be aware that not all of the larger efficiency rooms face the pool. Some are in the corner and face away from the beach and you look out over a parking lot. Just be aware. They should probably charge less for these rooms or more for the others but such is not the case. Also shampoo is not provided so bring your own. Nor is a sponge or dishwashing liquid. This is a small hotel and they are slowly refurbishing the rooms.

Down in Ft. Lauderdale on the last night of spring break and we were driving with our pet. All of the big chain hotels were booked so we started looking at independently owned ones. Our search for one that would take our pet was futile, then we came upon Premiere Motel. I was reluctant to inquire about pet policies but was delighted when they welcome pets. Check in was fast and friendly, our room was beyond anything that the big chains could offer, spacious, spotless and overlooked the pool. Because the way that the room was configured, the room we got had four double beds, of which two were in a room, separated by a door with two full sized bathrooms with regular size soap, not those small bars, and this was not an adjoining room. A fully equipped kitchen and a big screen television, and the best part was the room rate being so reasonable. Check out was fast and friendly, and the entire time we were there we were treated like family. Yes I highly recommend this motor lodge, and yes we will return for sure to it.

Room Tip: All rooms overlooked the pool and area was very well lit and great security.
