We literally stumbled upon this place by accident. We had checked out of our Marriott timeshare but still had one night left before our flight, so we stayed at the Renaissance on 17th Street for one night. It was Easter Sunday, and we took a list of area restaurants from the hotel and started walking. We were with our 7 year old who was hungry and not a happy camper. As we walked along, we realized lots of places were closed since it was Easter....we spotted a restaurant with outdoor seating and as we walked toward it a very friendly host was outside and greeted us, told us to come over and said come in, this is the best Italian in Fort Lauderdale. We loved the the freshly baked pizzas and the salad. They brought sliced fresh white mushrooms with olive oil and cheese, too. They had lots of small serving desserts which were excellent and the we ate the Naughty Nella which was delicious! They even brought us some homemade Orangecello to finish! The host and our waitress were so pleasant and friendly. We would have gone back again if we had more time. I would highly recommend this place. It's easy to miss as its located at the end of a strip mall, behind a gas station, and across the street from Winn Dixie. Family friendly or couple friendly.
