Trulucks is an amazing restaurant in ft lauderdale, the music is amazing and the best days are monday and wednesday tru friday, not only for the amazing deals like the happy hour from 4 to 7 but the environment, the service is amazing and the food is spectacular,if you are skeptical of sea food, this is a great restaurant to try and change your mind, in my visit i had an appetizer, about 6 drinks and 2 main courses and it was 130$ so is pretty good.

We went to Trulucks after returning from a cruise. We had a wonderful time. They do Happy hour everyday from 4:30 till 7:00. half price martini's and apps. Be aware this is very popular. We had a High top table in the bar and decided to eat our meal right there. Live Music which was real nice.
We had Smoky Oysters and hot and crunchy shrimp as apps . Both were awesome. Next were the Stone Crabs one colossal and one large. Simply amazing best me and the wife ever had. We finished off with King Crab legs which were also amazing . The legs came with Mashed potato and broccoli which were also great. They also use Garlic in the dipping butter which was a great touch. Our Server Candace was just great. Just go if u have a chance you will not be disappointed . Almost forgot Key Lime Pie to die for .we were there saturday Jan 18th

For the 2nd time this year my wife and I were in Fort Lauderdale. We always do the happy house as it is fairly reasonable. Again this time it was fantastic as we had 2 other couple.friends with us. The crab cakes are to die for, the mini-cheeseburger sliders are wonderful and the service was superb. Thanks to a young lady need Julie. "Thank You Julie".
The Piano-Man was outstanding and played a great variety of songs. It is a very elegant place and I'm sure if not for the half-price happy hour we wouldn't be there. The other local places we like is the Southport Raw Bar and The Garlic Knot. All great places.

The fish at this restaurant is superbly prepared and presented. Service is attentive and friendly. But the highly of the meal was our dessert, the chocolate box. It was a 6 inch high dark belgium chocolate sack filled with almond cake, fresh berries and whipped cream with carmel sauce and chocoloate drizzled on the plate and the top. It was absolutely sinful.Prices are on the steep side but worth it.
