“There is a reason why they are #1”
Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

I just ate at this establishment based on a local's recommendation. The burger I ordered was confidently suggested by one if the owner's son's Richard. He was personable and engaging and made me feel like I was a regular. While I waited for my meal, I sat within ear shot of the order counter and listened to the owner introduce herself and engage every customer ordering and dining in the place. The food came out quickly and was a good value for the area. The burger was spot on and tasty, sweet potato fries made me feel less guilty about ordering the burger. They were delicious. As a person who travels a lot and has to eat out a lot , I loved the quaint neighborhood place feeling they have and relationship they want with every customer. Must go here if you are nearby. You won't be disappointed

“awesome burger”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Loved the burger and fries, one of the best I have ever had, but should be for their prices! We were one of the last customers served on an off night and were welcomed as if we were family. Highly recommend!

“Outstanding food with owner onsite”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

We went here based on Trip Advisor reviews, Ms Gilbert greeted us and explained how to order then be seated and food would be served. She answered our questions about the entrees and we ordered. We had the ribeye for $29; salmon and portabello dandwich...all were delicious. Bill was $92 plus tip. Also had key lime pie. Clean generic seating, food was worth it.

“This places rocks”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

If you want good food, great service at a reasonable price, this is your place. The burgers and salads are top shelf and you leave here feeling you got you money's worth.

To Arty Z - having eaten at both places, Duffy's does not belong in the same sentence with Gilbert's. Sorry.
