Da Campo Osteria has a wonderful appetizer of fresh mozzarella. The 'super' mozzarella arrives on at cart at your table in the form of curds and hot water. A chef, in our case, Raymond, makes the mozzarella table-side. It is amazing to watch this process and the end result is warm fresh cheese that is served with a number of different items - balsamic figs, pesto with roasted garlic and pine nuts, heirloom tomatoes and prosciutto, just to name a few. The entrees are all creative and the pasta is home made. Desserts are great too. And with the wonderful service, the entire experience is terrific.
