Room is ok all is clean and you can use the facilities at all of their other hotels > ask for the sunday tea-dance !! Right on the beach
Breakfast is " American" staff is really friendly and this is the first gay hotel where the wifi really is working ! ( one code for all their venues ) at walking distance to the beach!

I have been staying here for many years. Go there for a few days every winter to get away from the brutal Boston cold.....
The property got new ownership last year and I was nervous about going back. Glad to see the place has retained its lowkey atmosphere and friendly staff. Rooms have been updated and the property got a facelift. Good changes overall. And you cannot beat the location - very close to the beach but far enough from the madness of the main strip.
Very impressed by the management staff - not so much by housekeeping.
I will definitely go back to my little hideaway!

Thanks for returning back to The Grand Palm Plaza once again. I'm glad you realize our close proximity to the beach and night life. The new management has been able to propel the property to the next level providing newly renovated rooms and a very attentive staff.Hopefully we can get you back before the cold winters hit Boston once again. Remember our reduced summer rates are now in effect .We'll keep your little hidden gem buffed and polished until your next visit!

We just returned from this resort. It was superb with a peaceful, relaxing ambiance. It is very quiet with light music playing around the Pool. Edward, Keith and the Management Staff are unique in their efforts to make you comfortable. It is only a short walk to the Beach and a nice walk to many good restaurants. Stay away from the Royal Palm Bistro though located several blocks away....service was terrible. We received a free meal from the really nice Manager because of the poor service. Without reservation I would recommend the Grand Palm as an escape from the hectic everyday life and it is also an excellent hotel for couples.GO!! You will not regret it.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked great. Our room was less expensive and smaller; however, it was superbly locate...

Gentlemen, it was such a pleasure having you back at Grand Palm Plaza after we recently renovated the property. We work really hard catering to everyone's needs. Thank you for the suggestions you made. As you know, I take everyone's comments and work on bettering the quality of service here at GPP.

As for the Plaza Bistro, I am sorry it was not a memorable experience. But I am glad the Manager was able to compensate your meal. We work closely with our other properties and restaurants to provide a pleasant experience to everyone. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. All the best, Edward

We have just returned form a month's stay at the Grand Palm Plaza. It was perfect! The property was recently updated with lush foliage and well appointed rooms. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Best of all was the manager, Edward, and the entire staff. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our entire stay. We like the Grand Palm Plaza so much we have already booked for a return stay next winter.

While I was only at Grand Palm Plaza for a short weekend, I was pleased with the accommodations and the staff service. My corner room was amazing and although a quiet weekend at the resort, was just what I needed. Paul from Pittsburgh, PA

We've been here 4 times since early January. Mostly on very short notice. Sparkling renovations with all brand new furnishings...and suites with full kitchens. Edward and Keith have taken care of all our needs and gone way out of their way to help in so many ways. A wonderfully quiet location that's warm and friendly...yet still steps from the local neighborhood action. A charming and comfortable community of guesthouses just steps from the ocean and fine dining.

We spent a lovely week at the Grand Palm. We've stayed at other places in Fort Lauderdale but really appreciated the comfortable updated rooms and amenities here. The staff, especially Edward and Keith, were totally sweet and helpful. They even mailed me my earbuds which I had left in the room when we checked out!

Compared to other gay hotels in this part of Fort Lauderdale, the scene at Grand Palm wasn't "frisky", which we appreciated. The other guests were very friendly and everyone was able to relax and have a good time around the pool. Although the hotel is small, it is part of a group of hotels in the area that have amenities you can take advantage of -- a gym, a restaurant, a bar, a jumbo jacuzzi -- so it was nice to be able to walk just a block or two to another hotel if you needed to work out or soak in the jacuzzi or buy a drink.

We loved the Grand Palm and will definitely return!
