We have now visited Las Olas several times during different times of the year, but this was our annual Boat Show trip. On our first trip, we discovered Rocco's Tacos, and we are now fortunate to have one in Tampa!
But the street has a lot of variety of foods and stores and is equally casual and elegant, depending on your mood.
We have always visited Las Olas while staying elsewhere. Our trip next year we will stay at the Riverside Hotel in the middle of everything. Looking forward to that trip!!

I had to pass through here several times in the last 2 weeks for work.I drove through on a Saturday and a Sunday. It was busy but you are able to get around without a ton of congestion which is very nice. I saw a lot of restaurants that were packed so if you're looking for a nice downtown walk this is a great strip to do it at.

Las Olas Blvd., begins in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale and travels all the way to the immediate Atlantic coast. At Downton, it is uniquely vintage, with shops and stops of many and varied things. You'll want to walk this area. Hop into a vehicle and head East. Restaurants, scenery, don't forget the annual Las Olas Art Festival. As you near the ocean's waterways, open your windows to clean, fresh, ocean breezes. Eateries, etc. will get pricier closer to the ocean, fyi. Continue on and the road will turn into A1A, which runs entirely along the immediate Atlantic Ocean. Shops, marinas, beaches abound. I recommend asking several locals for any and all suggestions; they'll know the gems and the tourist traps. Enjoy!

We love strolling down the streets of Las Olas. The shops and outdoor cafes are to die for. It's fun all day long

Las Olas is one of prettiest roads to stroll down on any given afternoon. It used to be very upper crust but now is a bit more trendy. Quaint shops and a wide variety of dining options exist. Old favorite restaurants such as Mangos and Cafe De Paris are gone but others like Le Bonne Crepe, Cafe Europa and the down home Floridian are still maintaining quality. New restaurants are cropping up all the time. The National Geography Gallery is worth a stop. Fabulous photographs. Las Olas is the site for frequent art shows.

Lots of shopping with unique boutiques. We had a few drinks at The Balcony and caught it at happy hour. Good deals if can go during the 4-7 time frame.

We stayed at the Riverside Hotel, which is right on Las Olas Blvd, prior to a cruise. Great area to walk, shop and dine. Lots of boutique shops to wander through. Not a huge area, just enough to amuse you for the day.

To shop, dine or just take a laidback evening stroll. Have various restaurants to offer and lots of upper end brands to lure ....
