“Dont waste your time”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Went here expecting shopping area like some other parts of Florida we have been but not much going on. Its good for restaurants as we ate down there one night, but if looking for a spot to walk around and shop really not what its built up to be.

“Just another street”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

It is lined with restaurants, galleries and some shops, but it is like any other major street in a big city. If you are in Fort Lauderdale you will want to visit, if for no other reason than to eat at a good restaurant.

“Fun to walk”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

There are at least 10 or 12 blocks with cafes and shops. We were part of a tour and they gave us 45 minutes to walk around.

“Poor Las Olas, what happened to you?”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

Being almost born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, I have known Las Olas Blvd for probably 40 years and it had definitely changed; not for the better. The "old" LO was elegant and almost of Worth Avenue quality (but a little less stuffy). The new LO is just sad. Tattoo parlors on Las Olas? Perish the thought! OK, the restaurants are still there but it's not much fun to be sidewalk-cafe munching with the horrible truck fumes 2 feet from your plate. Why can't they re-route all those trucks? And the charming little restaurants are mostly gone, either gobbled by chains or amalgamated into quite large establishments. Goodbye Las Olas: I never want to set foot on you again.

“Great shopping!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Wonderful shopping area! It is right around the corner from Ft. Lauderdale beach and there are many cute shops and restaurants with out door seating. We only stopped for ice cream and walked around but it was such a pleasant stop. I would love to go back for more shopping time and drinks! :)
