Great small restaurants and great boutiques. Best shopping in FTL---things you won't find anywhere else on your trip. No cheap touristy stuff. There are also some chain restaurants including Cheesecake Factory and Big City Tavern and Rocco's Tacos. But I'd check out the smaller places for a great lunch/dinner. Riverside Grill has great brunch. Mango's has great lunch & dinner and sometimes a live band. But everywhere on the strip you will find has a local vibe and fusion to it.

Good Afternoon "sarahevery",
I really enjoyed reading your review and must say that you took full advantage of the shopping and restaurants avaialble on Las Olas.

You are correct when you identified Las Olas as the Best Place, often referred to as the "Crown Jewel" of Fort Lauderdale.

Come see us soon again and do not forget to check out the specials at the Riverside Hotel, located directly on the Las Olas Boulevard.

Have a super afternoon,

Las Olas is lined with boutiques and restaurants, lots of good places to stop in. Makes for a great place for a stroll on a sunny day. Dog-friendly, and lots of good smells from the restaurants as you walk. Just a place for a stroll and to chill out, but the best part of Fort Lauderdale.

Good Morning,
You are so right by identifying Las Olas Boulevard as the Crown Jewel of Fort Lauderdale. And yes, we love dogs. Did you know that the Riverside Hotel is pet friendly and Preston's Wine and Martini Lounge has every Sunday evening a Yappy Hour called "Canine & Cocktails". Do not miss this great event!

See you and your furry friend soon again on the Las Olas Boulevard,

If you want to shop avoid this place. The stores are very expensive. The only store worth shopping in was Seldom Seen Gallery. Most of the antique stores were closed when I visited. If you are into art you will enjoy walking through and seeing the unique galleries.

Good Morning,
You certainly pointed out one of our main attractions on the Las Olas Boulevard, which is the wonderful selection of art galleries. Many international collectors flock to our district for their favorite collectors item.

Come visit us soon again,

We walked along Los Olas Blvd while waiting for our cruise boat time and I must say I was a bit unimpressed. A lot of very expensive shopping and boutiques that weren't really worth going into. A good amount of restaurants but as we were there during the afternoon, we weren't looking for dinner. Maybe the blvd is better at night but it seemed pretty snoozy to us. On the positive- We got some ice cream at the chocolate shop which was delish!

Good Morning,
Thank you for visiting us prior to your cruise. Please do not forget that the Las Olas Boulevard district goes from the beach to the Broward Performing Arts Center. Just hop onto the Sun Trolley and explore all the different parts of the boulevard, as we have something for everybody.

Hope you had a great cruise.

See you soon again,

While in FLL check out this strip of boutiques, restaurants and sidewalk cafes. Lots of trendy (expensive) artwork and clothing, it's interesting to see how the wealthy shop.

Not really a place for taking the kids as there are no toy stores or shops they will really like.
