We stayed in the new tower, which overlooked the river - the front desk staff were very helpful (even though we paid half the room rate through Priceline). I liked the fact that we could open the window to get fresh air. The bathroom was spotless and spacious; in fact, we had plenty of room to spread out, with a sitting area, a table and chairs, and a desk.
Even though the location is 3 miles from the beach, that spared us from the heavy winds blowing on the coast this weekend. The sun trolley heads straight to the beach and was 50 cents each way. Even though I thought having the water taxi a block away was an advantage, I didn't realize it was a bit of a tourist trap and not a straightforward mode of transportation! The heated pool was very nice, as well - I just wish it had been warm enough for a dip.
We had a decent breakfast at the Indigo - service was a little slow and awkward, but the food was very good. We even had monk parakeets show up in the trees outside while we were eating.More
