We went to the Everglades Holiday Park as part of a tour from a cruise from Fort Lauderdale. It was an enjoyable short bus ride to the park and when we got there we went on an everglades tour on board an airboat. The ride was exhilarating and we also saw about 4 alligators as well as other wildlife. The airboat tour was for about 45 minutes.
After this we saw a demonstration of alligator wrestling which was unbelievable - they were not small alligators she was handling.
There is also a shop to buy food and souvenirs. A very worthwhile attraction

It was not the best one that i have been to. The boats are very filthy and disgusting, and the whole place is overcrowded. Items are, as expected, overpriced. The airboat ride itself was over an hour long, but could've easily been a half hour. I suggest doing more research before going anywhere.

I was very excited to go to see the home of the "Gator Boys". I love watching them on TV and I thought it would be really fun to go see the Everglades Holiday Park. It was just okay. The airboat ride seemed short and a little staged. It wasn't like we were coming upon the wildlife, more like they had been placed there for us to "find". The alligator show didn't exactly keep me on the edge of my seat. At no time did I fear for the presenter's safety which I thought was kind of the idea. it wasn't a horrible experience, just kind of a let down because I was really looking forward to this!

Agree with other reviews that there's a lot of smokers and long waits to buy the tickets, get on the boat ride, and then to see the show. If you buy a living social to use for two adults in your family (for example, the mother and father), they will not allow you to use any discount coupons when you purchase the children's tickets at the box office. For example, we bought the living social deal to for $23 to cover two adults, and then planned to buy the children's tickets once we got there because we had a $2 off coupon in a tourist guide. If they had let us use the coupons, the children's tickets would have been $12.50-$2 for each child at the box office. Instead, we were charged the full children's price tickets so paid more for the children's tickets than we paid for the two adults through the living social deal. Therefore, you will save more money if you buy several groupons/living social deals for your entire family.

If you like cigarettes and tattoos, it's great. For me, there was way too much cigarette smoke with nothing of interest to do while we waited. The boat ride itself was lovely, and we saw at least five alligators in the wild, which was great. The "alligator show" after the ride isn't entertaining or educational. We prefer another Everglades park attraction that's run by Native Americans. If this place wasn't 15 minutes from my parents' place we all would have felt gypped.
