My kids love it here - from bubbles to the house area to the weather to the planes upstairs and all special exhibits . It's totally manageable - not too big and not too small. We went to an IMAX last time which was fun. I think my daughter who is 10 has another year or two before she gets bored with it. It's a bit pricey but in line with other museums of this type.

We have visited quite a few museums and this (so far) is the best. They are getting ready to expand on the outside as well. Even without the expansion, the museum is great. Our child had the best time and didn't want to leave (especially the Aviation Station area and the test your driving). It has a lot of hands on things for kids to do (even has a toddler area). Even the parents get caught up and have to say, "Oh, this is for the children". lol! If you are in the area and your child/children loves science museums, take them here. We parked in garage right across the street. I didn't ask how much it was to park. I am sure it wasn't much. Click on their link to find out more

We opted to visit the museum before our evening flight from Fort Lauderdale and it ended up being really fun. Museum is normally a bit expensive but we had reciprocity free admission from our local museum of science (ASTC) so that was perfect. A lot of exhibits were via fun interactive touch screens which was a big hit with the kids. A nice mix of life sciences and more tech-oriented things to do. Mars rover was a fun thing but our 5 year old was a bit scared by the motion at times. But he liked the airplane simulators a lot. Fear exhibit was very educational too. Enough to keep our 5-10 yr old kids entertained and we could not do it all in 3 hours.

pricey. >$10/ticket, i think between 12-14. the otters that they've rescued are fun to watch, swimming and climbing. great sea creature exhibits, and flight simulators very fun for kids and grown ups to fly/play. learned about weather and some nice human body exhibits. there were lots of interesting i-max movies, but we didn't do those (extra fees)

Our family spent the morning here and we really enjoyed ourselves. It wasn't as big as we were expecting it to be, but it definitely held our 6, 6, and 9 year-old's attentions. The Mars rover ride and air-boat rides were fun (the rover attendant did a much better job of making sure small children could see and experience the ride), and the models of the mammoth and megalodon were larger than we could have ever imagined. We wished there was more to see (plenty for younger children, I would imagine), but we definitely had fun! It was a beautiful day so we had lunch at the Riverwalk across the street.
