Went for lunch. Had curried chicken salad wrap and cup of butter nut squash soup and both were to die for. Waiter David was PERFECT and so nice.

Enjoyed lunch at Cafe Karibo during our recent visit to Amelia Island. They have a lovely courtyard for outside dining. Very busy at lunch time. Sandwiches are delicious. Flatbread pizzas are unique and very good. They change everyday. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and I had one lunch at Café Karibo and enjoyed it very much. Karibo is part of a well-managed trio of fish/lunch/dinner spots on north 3rd Street just one block off Center Street downtown. You can eat indoors or out and they have a separate “tavern" with a more casual atmosphere but equally good food. It is well regarded locally and with good reason.

Lovely courtyard to relax in after taking a walk on the greenway. The food quality was superb- everything tasted healthy and fresh and the beer (pilsner), which is brewed next door, was divine. We actually came back to this cafe the next and each had different things off the menu which were equallably delicious (maui maui sandwich and spicy chicken tacos). The service could not be faulted both times we there - attentive and friendly. Would definately recommend this to anyone in the area.

Expected a bit more after reading other reviews. The food was okay - they were sold out of the tenderloin special, so I opted for the Mediterranean Salmon. What arrived was some other kind of grilled fish drenched in olive oil with grape tomatoes and olives floating around it. Washed everything down with beverages served in plastic cups.
Their menu leans more toward burgers, sandwiches, wraps, etc., so set your expectations accordingly and you'll enjoy yourself.
