Fresh, inventive food, elegant but casual atmosphere. Next time we'll request table on lovely patio.

“A taste of Spain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Wonderful evening. We split several tapas. It reminded us of our time in Madrid and Barcelona. Chorizo, Manchego cheese, cava, Tortilla Espanola. and Ensalada de Sangria. It was all delightfully presented. Service was impeccable. A highlight of our weekend trip.

“Outstanding Food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

We recently stayed on Amelia Island for the first time at the wonderful Addison Inn & our Inn Keeper gave us his recommendation for Espana Restaurant for dinner. He took care of the reservations & it was walking distance from the Inn. It far exceeded all our expectations! We were seated promptly in the part of the dining room overlooking a courtyard. Our server was very knowledgeable about all the entrees & answered any questions we had. Two of our party chose a spicy fish special & enjoyed it. I chose a less spicy but equally delicious grouper entree with wonderfully prepared veggies on the side. The fourth in our party chose a dish with shrimp, I believe. It was so good she didn't even share! We will definitely return to dine on our next trip to Amelia Island.

“DO NOT PASS UP THIS RESTAURANT!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Made reservations for 6pm on a weekday. A few customers seated. We ordered an appetizer of Fried Calamari. For our entree, my wife ordered the Spicey Snapper, and I ordered the Shellfish Casserole. The meal was excellent! The sevice was very professional. We will return to this restaurant often.

“Very good food...fun experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The food (tapas) was very good and a great way to try multiple dishes. It was a fun experience and we will definitely eat here again. Our favorites are listed below.

Gambas al Ajillo (Shrimp in Garlic Sauce )
Gambas Mozambique (Shrimp Mozambique style)
Picadinho (Pork Tenderloin)
Tres leche cake (delicious...best desert we tried)
Spanish beer...can't recall the name but it was on tap and very good

Chicken with Lemon and Garlic was good. The calamari was just ok (not crispy...a little soggy). The slices were very uniform and may have been frozen (not fresh). I would not order the chicken or calamari again. The bread, which was served with what I believe was some type of Italian dressing, was not very appetizing and in my opinion unnecessary. Overall the food and service were very good.
