This is an excellent golf experience for only $40 online price. The greens are fast, and many have sloped "turtle shell" edges. Grass on the fairways is thin, but that's probably due to it's being winter, and it's been dry. Most fairways are narrow, and there are many beautiful natural areas and some water. Challenging, no matter what tee you play. Our threesome finished up in about 4-1/4 hours.

The design of the course and the setting is beautiful. North Hampton is a beautiful community with a top notch golf club!

I flew down from cold snowy Ohio just to play 18 holes. Place was really nice. Looks like they have replaced some grass around areas of the course.

We here told that this course used to be the third toughest in Florida. They say that they have made it more user friendly. I haste to think heat it was like before the changes. The score card shows 7 sets of tees including one extremely short burgundy tees. In fact there are six..and the red tees are not as short as shown on the card.
The white tees slope at 125. I am a 23 index and they're all I could handle.
The course grass was dormant in late Nov. The greens were died green. Some were huge...as much as 50 yards in depth with lots of break and pretty slippery.
I may be a masochist but can't wait to go back.

Played a couple of rounds this month. Recently renovated and more golfer friendly. In better shape than courses on the island in my opinion. Rates are low so it's a super value. Lunch in 19th hole was very good afterwards. Overall much improved since last year I was here for the winter months.
