We reserved an RV/van campsite for 2 nights and ended up staying 2 weeks! I hesitate giving Ft. Clinch such a good review because we don't want too many others to discover this great place!! We had wonderful campsites in both the River Campground and the Beach Campground. These are 2 very different camping areas, although the bath/shower facilities are wonderful, new and immaculate in both areas. The River Campground offers large campsites which are shaded with towering oaks and hanging moss while the Beach Campground offers only open sites with no cover or shade. You are within a short walk to the beach from both areas and the beach truly is a gem. Privacy, solitude and miles of beach walking and shell picking. The historic fort is wonderfully preserved and is a must experience as it puts history in perspective with regard to the area. In addition to the great facilities, we also must recognize the wonderful ranger and volunteer staff that make this park so great. This was our first experience at Ft. Clinch and we will not hesitate to return...........and probably stay until they kick us out!

The admission is well worth the price, especially if you're riding your bike. You get away from the crowds and there are nice views and shade on a sunny day.

The piark has many offerings including a camping area, a pier, and a civil war fort with embattlements. Although never used in a battle it gives you the idea of what life was like in a fort awaiting the enemy.

This place is uttely amazing! You couldnt ask for a prettier beach and scene--- the oak trees, sand dunes, trails and the beach. You could spend the whole day just exploring and enjoying the sights. The beach is so private, you arent cramped on top of each other and you have the space to fish, relax, explore. Everyone should see the gorgeousness of this park!

Great Historic site in Florida! A rare find in the sunshine state! Reenactors were helpful and friendly. Nicely kept buildings and grounds. Plenty of room to roam about. Good mix of guided and self paced things to do. Neat tunnels under the ramparts makes kids and fun loving adults feel like you're on a real adventure!
