“The best anniversary my wife and I have shared.”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

The stay at the Williams house far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and I wanted to surprise her. I shared with Deborah what I wanted to do and she took care of every detail and went above and beyond with the arrangements. The smugglers cove is such a great room and a relaxing atmosphere with a private porch and jacuzzi as well. The breakfasts are worth writing home about as well as the gracious hospitality. We thank you Byron and Deborah for making an unforgettable experience and look forward to when we can come again.

My husband and I attended the Concourse d'Elegance on Amelia Island. It is a fabulous car show and we stayed at the Williams House. The car show was better than ever which we enjoyed so much. The Williams House was just wonderful to come back to after a day at the show. We relaxed while discussing the car show in our room or on the front porch. Our room had french doors which opened onto a porch with chairs and a table. It was so quiet and still. We had delicious dinners each night at David's, Espana and Le Clos. After dinner it was back to the Williams House and sleep. The king bed has remarkable sheets that make you feel that you're all snuggled up. Breakfast in the morning is superb, served on gorgeous china with every attention to detail on the dining table. Our breakfast companions also came for the car show and we had a great time swapping stories with the other guests during breakfast. The rooms are clean, the area is safe ( we walked to dinner each night) and the innkeepers are truly impressive. They (Deborah and Byron) work very hard to make sure that their guests are happy and satisfied during their stay. Stay at the Williams House. I know you'll have a wonderful time.

We went the only 2 days that it was cold in Florida. We were relieved to have a real fireplace in our room to keep us warm. The whole house takes you back to the 18th century, much like you're in the set of Downton Abbey - with its beautiful furniture, chandelier, expensive china from all over the world. Highly priced B&B, but great value for your money. They served a delicious gourmet breakfast and the hosts were very welcoming and were so "hands-on". Just 2 blocks from the restaurants and shops. Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back.

Our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better experience. The room was very nice, convenient location to town, the food was delicious, and the staff was very welcoming. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to get away and relax.

Room Tip: Some rooms have gas fireplaces; highly recommend them.

My wife and I stayed at the Williams House over New Year's for our honeymoon, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We're in our late 20s, had never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast before, and wanted a fairly low-key, relaxing honeymoon after a hectic wedding/holiday season. If this description fits (or nearly fits) you as well, I highly recommend the Williams House. For us, it was the perfect introduction to the bed-and-breakfast experience. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays, the breakfasts were excellent, and Deborah and Byron's hospitality made us feel welcome.

You can be as private or as social as you'd like. We tend to be fairly private individuals, but we greatly enjoyed the wine & cheese hour every afternoon and conversations with other guests over breakfast. The inn is within short walking distance to the main downtown area (restaurants and shops), and we able to walk to the beach as well (a lengthier walk, however). We stayed in the Princess Amelia suite and would do so again. There's coffee and a small refrigerator right outside the door, along with access to the 2nd-story front porch.

Thank you, Deborah and Byron. We cannot wait to return.
